Dude, when I saw your video title, I instantly thought "oh no... this guy actually followed the insane soundcore script! Thank you for calling them out even if just in passing fro that absolutely stupid list of demands for the review videos. Alan Ross actually did a video reading it all out on camera with screen shots.

Much appreciated man 👊🏾 It really is a great speaker. I'm actually considering leaving my Sony ULT Field 7 at home when we go to the beach because of what you said in regards to the size and weight. I'll either choose the Boom 2 Plus or the Boom 2 for the next trip. They're lightweight, smaller size, and not too harsh on the wallet if someone walks off with it or a catastrophe happens.
They should rele put in the dust protection.

That price claim pits it up against tribit stormbox blast which I believe was beating out the motion boom plus in performance
I bought one for $210. I contacted SoundCore about returning it and they gave me $15 back so I basically got it for $195. Definitely worth it.

Dude... literally anything is better than the Xtreme 3. You can probably get about $200 USD for it. However, the Motion Boom will be hard to sell because they're so cheap brand new and they don't hold value in the used market. Either way, the Boom 2 is a much better choice over both of them.

The full band eq allows you to control the frequency range on each pedal
You should mess with it a bit to really get thee ideal sound in different frequency ranges

@JPSchulzy82 lol! To be honest, I have never had a Soundcore speaker I didn't like the sound of. In the past, they were not the best looking or best built, but they have completely changed in the last few iterations. Now they're more of a total package at an affordable price.

Would be curious to know if with Soundcore speaker you can buy 2 of these for the price of one JBL Boombox3 or Sony Ult Field 7 which would be the better way to spend your $500 in terms of sound quality, loudness, and sound seperation.
For loudness: Field 7 & Soundcore
For Sound Quality: Field 7 & BoomBox 3
For low-end bass: BoomBox 3
For separation: Field 7... two Boom 2 Plus will definitely give you more separation.

I have a small cheaper headphone DAC that decodes MQA audio. Once in a while I use it while at home on my Boombox 3.
Is it better than the Tribit Stormbox Blast? I have the first Motion Boom Plus and the sound was always lacking, but I bought it for portability and USB C charging, the Tribit needs a proprietary charger.
Sounds rather boomy on low end which is not good.

For that price, you're better off with the Almighty Harman kardon go + play 3 or JBL partybox encore(not encore essential) that'll hit deeper with a more hifi sound
Hmmm... I see your argument, but aside from sound, someone may want IPX7 instead of IPX4. Or 20 hr batter vs 6 hr. This comparison comes down to the user's needs more than sound.

I still prefer my Tribit Stormbox blast
The BOSE max will have overall better quality sound. And plenty loud enough. And the bass is more clean. Plus its way smaller. This boom 2 plus is just more powerful and louder and bass heavy. Definately the best bang for ur buck. Wont dissapoint. Im sure sounds excellent. But still NOT the best sound.

For $250 I'm gonna pass. I'll wait for a jbl sale and get a boom box 3 for around that price. Nothing against Anker but now they've entered expensive territory for pretty much unknown brands. Most everyone knows JBL. You say Anker to someone and they look at you like what the eff are you talking about? I have a boom 2 that I paid $109 for on sale and I like it very much for what it is and for the price. Then again I bought a Harman Kardon, don't think I spelled it right Onyx studio 6 for $100 on sale and it destroys everything at that price and above. Kick ass deep bass. I laugh at JBL prices and don't buy JBL at full price. Now all these Chinese companies hovering around $200 or more with their boom box "killer" I laugh at them too because they're overpriced. You can't trust that they will be around tomorrow. JBL has been here for awhile.
