Better way is to throw something at them and instantly run into the oak tree lab. The spiders cant get in but doesnt leave. But you can still use mid to high range weapons to hit them
If you go in there from the east of the oak tree and stay to the left side you can go up into an area where they can't get you. Just bring a lot of arrows or spears and snipe away.
I just put 4 palisade doors near the yoked girth head between the shrink ray and the hedge. No need to respawn ever and you cant even get hit. Each day I find 2 wolf spiders sleeping. I just run over and move the palisade doors to block the leaf home and the home under the girth head. This traps both spiders in their homes. Ill then just spam some arrows. Feathers arrows work great. They do bleed damage and you can pick them back up. Spamming arrows at a distance the spider won't attack makes it so they never damage the palisade doors.
