Building at least 6 mushroom farms early and remembering to harvest then regularly is a really good idea because of how much the mushrooms are needed for late game building. And farm/keep any Boiling glands you can to make at least 4 furnaces.
Tip #65 - keep in mind that certain rotten items, such as the rotten underwater lantern (can't remember the in-game name), will disappear upon reaching zero durability instead of being repairable, try not to let them break before you've analysed them
You can plant muscle sprout in garden patches, and with spoiled food as fertilizer increases harvest to 4. For chest instead of hold pressing E in every chest, just press N to deposit to all chest.
Fun fact! With red ant armor and the increased hauling strength mutation allows you to carry 24 planks of glass planks and weed stems. That’s 1 less than you can fit on a pallet
This was very helpful. It was three tips I didn’t know from before. It is so refreshing to actually see a video that shows what is promised in the title and description. Good quality. Thank you for your work you really motivated me to start playing again. 👍
The flares are good for when you are fighting something tough in the dark and want your best gear on instead of using a slot for a light, especially on whoa.
1. You can build sap collectors on ivy vines in the upper yard too. 2. You can now farm muscle sprouts in the garden in the latest update. 3. Don’t upgrade your gear past lv5 until you can make glue. 4. Use the salt morning star against wasps (destroy their hives and loot them, too). 5. Decorations have a comfort rating in the menu so check that if you’re trying to increase your base coziness. 6. Build on the pond for immunity from most enemies and a great view. 7. Plugging the haze is useful for negating the use of gas masks in that area - The gas mask is fragile and the haze is hard to explore before it’s plugged. 8. You can customise the decorations on the shelves using LB. 9. Use spicy weapons to kill food-giving bugs to insta-cook the meat (salt weapons create jerky). 10. The gas mask can be used for explosion resistance when upgraded, useful for fighting infected bugs. 11. Eat candy chunks. Mints give you the fresh defence mutation, spicy is covered here and sour gives you damage reflect. 12. Loot any human skeletons you find - they usually have something useful.
almost all you said was helpful, except for #7. Turning off the haze is PERMANENT and make infected enemies spawn anywhere in the map (except for specific places) so unless you are ready to find & fight infected ladybugs/larvas don't do that, gas mask are cheap and having to fight infected enemies + them destroying a looot of stuff causing lag is not worth it. Only plug the haze when you know for sure everyone is ready to to take all of what's there and kill that specific secret boss Also there is a lot of dead tier 2 bugs to loot for free in there when the haze is active
The haze is useful for keeping the infected from spreading all over the yard, infected wolf spider anyone? Yes, no mask is convenient.... but there is a price to be paid. Infected aren't that big a deal, but it changes the feel of areas and your bases will be attacked by them. Think carefully before you plug the haze, you can't go back once it's done.
@HorsemanDrr Turning off the Haze is permanent, but infected bugs *only* spawn at specific places in the map. They dont just randomly spawn everywhere. I just bought the Fully Yolked Edition and this is my first time playing this game. It's just wonderful. And your tips are very useful. But they also changed a few things, also for the better. For example it's now possible to farm the muscle sprouts in the Bed that you can build, guess they changed that with one of the newer updates. BC now I have unlimited access to muscle sprouts, even if they grow very slow.
1:03, there is another way you can get to upper yard and its located at the most west yard, there is grass that touches the side of the wall, and you need some skill to parkour around, but very managable
Hey, regarding the milk molars ( 24:31 ), if I'm sharing a server with a friend and eventually get some molars without my teammates being online at the moment, will they have it as soon as they login?

The tip to avoid black widow can be very easily done without parkour - just bring 2 or 3 shinobi sneezes and sprint past, more if you want to avoid the widowlings completely as well
In crop plots at your base. 1 sprout becomes 2 "plants" harvested by simply picking them up. There is a small chance for the Green Thumb effect to trigger individually on either plant in the crop plot; turning that sprout into an enlarged version that yields 2 sprouts but requires a tier 2 axe to harvest.

I used the Spiky sprig with mint until I was able to make the mint club. The bleed is good for a hit and run if I was losing the fight and lots of things don't like fresh.
all im going to say for tip number 11 3:10 is instead of using weed stems use grass for late game or clovers for early game since they can both be grown instead of farmed, good luck out there fellow explorers.
Didn’t know the tip about converting weed into 8 plant fibre. Thanks for that, as collecting plant fibre is grindy. Just fill up a regular, or large stem pallet with weed planks and you get 168 plant fibre from regular pallet and 480 from the large
Again, something for everybody. Just one new tip for me, but a good one (the one about glowing blueprint). Even at places which do not allow to place it, you still have kind of a torch.
Another tip if you real want early wolf spider kills. Craft about 60 spears and stash half if them in a chest on the root near the tree lantern with the small stick going down to the spider hole. They can't jump up there and you can just toss spears for massive damage.

at 13:00, this may have changed during an update since this video was released but you can grow muscle sprouts in gardens, and you can find a couple in the black ant lab
@Paraly5er 16:45 best tip for Sprigs, especially early on, me and my boyfriend call this area "Sprig City" because you can harvest between 90 to 120 Sprigs in one run, and it refreshs often, so it's basically infinite Sprigs, no farm plots needed!
This game is awesome! I'm just learning to play and is a bit overwhelming at first. I appreciate your videos! I love all the crafting items, building and techniques in this game. I hope to get comfortable with all of it. Thanks!
You farm the Muscle Sprouts, you can plant them in a garden bed. 1 will turn into 2. With fertilizer they will grow into 3-4, but it's a bit annoying to harvest since you will need an axe.
Extension of Tip #20 - You CAN store roasted meat on the roasting spit and it never spoils. Just tested it with the newest version, I kept it there for forever and when I took it, the food had full decay bar. That way you can always have some food to pick up when going somewhere.
I believe Tip 13/14 Doesnt entirely work anymore, atleast on PC, due to pests/pets eating foods from a much further distance, and through walls. I have a pit trap myself, and they keep eating the food. But you can place a Toadstool garden plot in the middle and still farm Weevils, since they're attracted, but dont eat it.
does anyone know how to get rascal mutation leveled? I watched a tutorial that said I had to collect statues I collected the second one and didn't get more % so I'm a little confused
Man I just found out about the pallets myself by wondering if they would drop or despawn the stems if I moved it. Wish I had figured it out about four days ago when I started building.
Tip #18 you can actually carry 5 planks/stems and then pickup the storage also works for chests so u can multitask a little bit :) sadly u can’t stack chests :((
You can plant Muscle Sprouts on garden patches as well, giving you 1:2 on rotten meat and a 50% chance at 1:3 or even 1:4 with rotten food as fertilizer. Takes a while. Some good ones here :D
Tip: Use game saves to reload at a specific point to save you having to run across the map to collect your backpack. It’s a good idea saving before a hard fight or before going into a dangerous area
You can grow muscle sprouts now, you don't get a massive yield - I think with rotten food as fertiliser you get the equivalent of 4 for 1 you put in. It's not a massive thing but you can get more than what is available in the pond lab.
Tip #47 - if I remember correctly you can parkour onto the top of the sandcastle aswell, go around the side of the sandbox then just use a dandelion tuft to glide over
True but for 3k raw science I'll take the health upgrades first haha, especially with meat shield being the same price and probably being close to enough to stop you from dying. Not to mention the dandelion tuft
i feel like carrying heal bassa's are better than bandages because they heal a big chunk of health, while yes bandages are better early game, if you're at early midgame to late game you should always carry atleast 5 for a quick heal
@@paraly5er while yes smoothies are the best healing due to their effects and heals, imo its better to save smoothies for hard enemies or mix.r, while heal bassa's are quick and faily easy to get. In end game i usually combine them so when im just needing a quick heal i'll just throw a heal bassa but if im fighting a boss im gonna use smoothies

you can actually farm muscle sprouts in the garden patch
Yep, you can now, not when this was made
does anyone know how to get rascal mutation leveled? I watched a tutorial that said I had to collect statues I collected the second one and didn't get more % so I'm a little confused
3:20 does this work on meaty gnats aswell?
No
Oh cheers 👍
Man I just found out about the pallets myself by wondering if they would drop or despawn the stems if I moved it. Wish I had figured it out about four days ago when I started building.
Oof haha, well at least you know now
nice tipps, thanks dude
No problem! Glad I could help
Tip - build your dew collectors very close together, and the dew will combine together making big dew drops that have multiple uses
Spell Sprouts can be farmable using the garden patch and some rotten food to speed it up
Tip #57 and and #99 were ones I really needed!
Thank you!
I got you!
Excellent video
Thank you
Tip #18 you can actually carry 5 planks/stems and then pickup the storage also works for chests so u can multitask a little bit :) sadly u can’t stack chests :((
Yeah true
You can plant Muscle Sprouts on garden patches as well, giving you 1:2 on rotten meat and a 50% chance at 1:3 or even 1:4 with rotten food as fertilizer. Takes a while. Some good ones here :D
Yep, not when this was made but you can now
Tip: Use game saves to reload at a specific point to save you having to run across the map to collect your backpack. It’s a good idea saving before a hard fight or before going into a dangerous area
Not a terrible idea but also kind of cheating
@Paraly5er how's it cheating its part of the game
Nice type,efficient I like it
You can grow muscle sprouts now, you don't get a massive yield - I think with rotten food as fertiliser you get the equivalent of 4 for 1 you put in. It's not a massive thing but you can get more than what is available in the pond lab.
Yeah I know thanks, this was made just before the update released to make it possible
@@paraly5er Ah I see, that makes sense.
For the ant lions in the holes I walked around the edge of the hole shooting arrows if you hold left or right they miss the ant throw every time
Yeah just gotta be careful you don't get too close or the sand attack will pull you in. Or other antlions will sneak up on you mid fight
same
Tip 36 really helped me kill the broodmother on my woah mode world (I’ve already died 4 times to it)
Let's go!
Am I the first one that actually knew all of these tips besides Paraly5er? I feel ancient now.
A lot of them are from mythbusting videos tbf
Tip #47 - if I remember correctly you can parkour onto the top of the sandcastle aswell, go around the side of the sandbox then just use a dandelion tuft to glide over
You just need determination to NOT want to build to find the way to parkour to where you want to go lol
@@JoseJaLahPeno true, something I love the Devs for tbh
For tip 54, it’s worth noting that the Daredevil mutation allows you to do this even with no health upgrades
True but for 3k raw science I'll take the health upgrades first haha, especially with meat shield being the same price and probably being close to enough to stop you from dying. Not to mention the dandelion tuft
@@paraly5er Of course of course, just thought I'd mention it though
Videos like this always make me feel bad for being in the late game and still rawdogging it. No farms or canteens or sap catchers or anything lol
Ok I actually learned something new here.
Never knew you could change the bounce pad angle and hight.
i feel like carrying heal bassa's are better than bandages because they heal a big chunk of health, while yes bandages are better early game, if you're at early midgame to late game you should always carry atleast 5 for a quick heal
Smoothies are way better for a big heal, much faster to drink and heal more too
@@paraly5er while yes smoothies are the best healing due to their effects and heals, imo its better to save smoothies for hard enemies or mix.r, while heal bassa's are quick and faily easy to get. In end game i usually combine them so when im just needing a quick heal i'll just throw a heal bassa but if im fighting a boss im gonna use smoothies
Fairly far into the game
Didn’t know the first tip, thank you
How can I get the green smoke effect when you are attacking bugs?
That is the poison nova effect from the full set of brood armor
You can plant muscle sprouts in a garden at your base actually and farm them that way but only 3-4 at a time
You can now, not when this was made
i found lots of that, i never thought it was that rare for me. i think my rarest find was a planet with Mushroom headed bronto creatures, i only found them very early in launch days and i have never found those ever again. i wish i had coordinates for it, XD and i have tired teleport back to my early discoveries, but i thin are no more available or something
