Been there 3 times myself. If you get lucky you can find a good room for 5-6k/month. I usually book mine on airbnb and the host usually covers the utilities too.
Older building but never had problems there. Nice and quiet area too.

Wow, $59.00 a month with coupon, man that what I paid my water bill per month when I used to live in Atlanta back in 2021. The place looks good and clean. If you plan to stay in Thailand for a long time I recommend go online such as Shopee, Lazada or go to shop that sell sim card and get what Thai people call "AIS Sim Thep". This Sim Thep ( ซิมเทพ) is one time payment around 2,400-2,500 bath ( $70.00 usd per years). You'll get unlimited internet and call. This sim card will save you a lot of money, but its only last 12 months and then you'll have to get the new sim thep and new phone number.

If you are anything like my husband and I when we travel, we are mostly in our room a couple hours before bedtime, and the rest of the time exploring! That room is just fine for a single young man! Especially since we know you going to be hitting the town checking it all out for us and making videos! 🥰

It depends on location and lifestyle. The best thing about freee accommodation in Thailand is avalable, but I think you are not goion to. Thai are generous. ............

Lagoons Beach hotel .I stayed there in 2019 for 1 month I paid $300.but the problem is too far away from the center of Pattaya. It's in jamtien .and a lots of dogs 🐕 on the street .I used to walk to the beach .

How does the visa run work I know you mentioned it briefly but do you just go to another part of east Asia after your first 30 days for like a day or 2 before you can fly back in to Thailand for a renewal of your days ?

are you doing a 1month per airbnb travel? its what my itinerary looks like starting jan. 8th in bangkok and move to pattaya for a month then koh samui for a month and so on.
