One thing sticks out from the comments and that is you can’t keep everyone happy. I’m just thankful you let us into your world Brent. Watching you take on the different dramas with your great attitude is so refreshing 😊
Can't wait till see the studebaker getting worked on! It's such a oddball car/ truck but it works! And with your finesse, I know it will turn out amazing
@@IEchuckieI would call it a Coupe Express II. Studebaker made the Coupe Express from 37 to I think 39 but it was not a good seller even though they were beautiful..... especially the 37's.
I am hoping you rebuild the white and green truck. I loved that truck, it looked the best (but I also love the Model A truck too that you have). But I watch all of your vids. Sometimes, about 3 times or more each.
You could just give the Studebaker a quick spray with some cheap paint from Rural King. Just something to keep the rust under control. Like you I think its a very cool ride. It's a sure bet you won't see another like it . Would've been great to have met the guy who built it!
Wow!! You did that front end like you may have done it a time or 2 before, lol. It amazes me how you can make things fit like you do. To do all you have to do and still manage to put out the videos like you do....other TH-camrs could learn a thing or 2 from you Sir. Best by far 💯
It is so great to see how you have bounced back from the disaster that you folks went thru with the loss of your old shop, It has been mega hours of work but you do seem to have your dream shop and your not cramped for space. It's a good feeling to have your ducks all lined up. Well done and keep the first class content coming our way.
Home built by Jeff is doing a frame swap from an old bus lots off smallish jobs to make it fit . Looking forward to see what you do with the Studebaker low and 4wd please .
I am happy you are planning to save the coupe. I know it is a difficult maybe even foolish challenge but so many of us are inspired by your glass-half-full attitude.
The 66 is a beautiful looking truck. A guy could make a nice camper on the back. MY dad owned, and I learned to drive on a 64 GMC pick-up. I'm looking forward to this project.
the frame swaps all over yt always let me ask why you would change a good old massive chassis for a modern paper one? it´s much easier to change axles than the whole chassis.
From the moment you sat in behind the wheel, I was hit by a huge wave of nostalgia. My first "real" job was as an apprentice to a truck mechanic in 1963, right out of high school. Driving those trucks, that were brand new, was like driving a stiff, unforgiving piece of post oak. Nonetheless, it was wonderful and the obvious power of lower-geared trucks was intoxicating. I don't blame the owner of this nice truck one bit for wanting to use it as a daily driver. Bravo for realizing the ride quality can use a bit of softening.
Good tips on the chassis swap idea! It definitely sounds like the easy road, until you realize nothing lines up, and everything needs to be built. That's a nice looking truck too! I dig the old big trucks! Personally, I'd like to see the frame shortened, and a big 'ol bed put on it. Call it the Colonel! (like the General)
That stude is so cool. I like the truck, a P30 camper frame works good on those trucks but I like the way you did it better, the heavy duty frame is nice to keep if you want to haul a car or heavy stuff
Excellent Video Brent :) that 1966 GMC truck be super fix you doing to it and like colors on too ! Also nice rare & if find 390 rear gears be awesome and to but if can't would be 1966 3 to 9 ton truck axle ratio to use!
Hey Brent, A really nice project to update a neato rig for driving, Cab is in great shape but looks huge. Frame fit is really good you did well researching the parts and finding that front end. I see it going to gether and looking great and work like factory. Your friend is lucky to you on his project. Take Care, Dennis
Brent, I sure do like the 66 GMC Orange Paint Job.. This build will make the truck ride and steer better. Cool Pablo taking a boot at the end was cool..
Glad to see the coupe is gunna be coming into the shop soon been watching since the Pontiac coupe was built, love the channel keep up the good work 👍🇦🇺
yes ! big truck stuff. front suspension swap is definitely much faster than a frame swap. 1 ton that came as a "incomplete vehicle" will have the right width spring mounts. save you a bunch of time. they are usually mounted to around 5" tall frame so it would allow you to move the mounts up the side of the frame to lower the truck as well.
Nice video of your immense knowledge of swapping stuff to other stuff! BTW... I'm the guy that sent you the email requesting the before and pics of the GMC roadster. I'm still getting around to posting something on that. Thanks! I think your logo painted on the roadster's doors, like it's been on there for 50 years, would be kickass! Or rather, Halfass cool! ;)
Im looking forward to the Studebaker build. That would be killer with air ride and an LS. I agree that the work that has been done is sweet. So just leave it alone.
Love this project. It is different. I agree with a commenter. A Cummins would be sweet in that. Love this channel and all your builds. This one is,awesome.
Yeah it'll be nice. Little job like you. I was getting a bit tired of the other job you were doing on the green car so this will be something new. Looking forward to the rest. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Great video. Nice work on the replaced front clip. Everything you're saying is making sense. Look forward to more on this one. Be safe and stay well,
Carona and I enjoyed.
Great series. Resto-moding a ‘56 mercury m700 and this gave me several ideas! Thanks!!
Cab looks excellent. Independent front end big improvement.
THE STUDEBAKER RULES! Wow! What a cool shape. Look forward to that one. The Ol' Smokey Coupe save will also be one for the ages.
good show Brent Keep on Truckin😎👍

I'm so pumped on this one!
My favorite channel. !!!!!!! for years now !!!
So much quality content amazing how he can turn nothing into something
Can't wait till see the studebaker getting worked on! It's such a oddball car/ truck but it works! And with your finesse, I know it will turn out amazing
Is it a ElStude or a Studero ?😅
@@IEchuckieI would call it a Coupe Express II. Studebaker made the Coupe Express from 37 to I think 39 but it was not a good seller even though they were beautiful..... especially the 37's.
But I do love the big projects, 😊
Neat project. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out. 💪👍🏼
We love y’all Brent! Please wear your eye protection when plasma cutting.
It’s exciting to me cause I like big trucks. Modernize it an drive it !
I am hoping you rebuild the white and green truck. I loved that truck, it looked the best (but I also love the Model A truck too that you have).

I'm looking forward to the Studemino build. I'm doing an S10 clip and rear end in my 49 Pontiac this winter.
Will be nice to see you get back onto the Coupe once you're ready and feeling it. You should name it Phoenix once it's done.
Looking forward to this one, planning to do exact mods to a 54, 6100
A cool change over.using contemporary under carriage parts. Like it man!

This is going to be really cool I like it you doing a bang-up job yo
I just bought a 66 last week and I'm stoked for the project. The body isn't in the condition yours is in but the frame is perfect and very low miles.
I love this truck, I can wait to see it!!!!
Should put a long bed dually bed on it
Pablo looks happy cruising in the new hot rod. Thanks.
YES!!! The coupe ... can't wait
Cool project, Brent. Be neat to see how things come together. Take care 👍
Cool ride Brent looking forward to the next phase 👍👋🇨🇦
Brent, love that GMC is already on the road to be driven, not trailered to custom meet ups! It now is living a second life as a fun truck! Mega Kudos!
Has this become a full-time job? Being a disabled veteran limits most of what I do --to watching! Keep the videos coming! They are informative!
That is a brilliant way to change out a front end! You saved so much work and so much time.. Nice old Jimmie!!!
the frame swaps all over yt always let me ask why you would change a good old massive chassis for a modern paper one? it´s much easier to change axles than the whole chassis.
I've got to say I'm loving you back on the spanners with Big trucks! 💚🇬🇧🌱 Nice change after all the sewing...🫶
Only for you would that work out so well,I’m happy for that but you have true vision and skills Brent. Thanks John from Arizona
The Studebaker would look killer with a 59 impala style truck lid and wings!!!!

Hello brent would you sell the coup once finished. I'd be interested if so sir. 👍🏻🇬🇧🙏🏻
What a cool project, I’d love to dig into a big truck but I just don’t have the room. Look forward to seeing more of this one
Great job Brent now that kind of thing is right down my alley thanks for the video
That stude is so cool. I like the truck, a P30 camper frame works good on those trucks but I like the way you did it better, the heavy duty frame is nice to keep if you want to haul a car or heavy stuff
It's a cool truck, and good year 1966. Another interesting built of yours. Best channel on TH-cam for my part. Thanks Brent 🙏
Awesome! I just put an s10 clip and dif in my 1952 IH panel van! Working on editing the videos now 😅 it’s going to take a while haha
Hey Brent, if I didn’t know better it looks like you’re having fun with that truck. Again more amazing creative problem solving.
Excellent Video Brent :) that 1966 GMC truck be super fix you doing to it and like colors on too ! Also nice rare & if find 390 rear gears be awesome and to but if can't would be 1966 3 to 9 ton truck axle ratio to use!

I think Pablo is really digging the green truck. Looking forward to this big truck. Carry on Brent!
One thing about RV'S and boats they dont get many hour's on they most of the time .I like this one, Brint 👍
Nice video of your immense knowledge of swapping stuff to other stuff!

I would love to see that All wheel Drive creation come to fruition one day . But love seeing you work !
Nice.
Z'd chassis and a 10 foot tray.
Nice truck, probably a muncie 465 granny transmission, they were used in several trucks up until 93ish, built for a tank
What a neat project....sure is gonna b nice...great vid Brent
😂 thx 🤠 hey Pablo 🐶
Badass suspension swap very cool Studebaker pickup. 👍
I love how you make things work so easy. Most would have swapped the chassis. Great job. Long time lover of this channel. Cheers from Newfoundland.
Love the look...of...that truck.
Take a break Brent but love what your doing to rhe old truck! God bless you Brent!
That suspension is called P30. It’s kind of a wider C30 setup. Motorhome like yours and GM cube vans.
Same cab as a half ton just bigger fenders
1 ton or camper rear end with super singles arre a Kool look for this series truck....the general 😊
Do more front and rear end upgrades with teaching is plus.more teaching videos

Your videos are always enjoyable. Thanks for the update on the 37 ford.i think it would be awesome as a rat rod. Thanks for the update on the35 dodge.
Love the Studebaker ute - looks nearly 'factory' - pity they didn't do one - cheers
A set of 22.5 semi rims and low pro tire would look great on the truck
I been wanting to do this to my 52 Chevy 2 ton, just not a lot of information on this upgrade, will be looking forward to seeing it completed
Yeah it'll be nice. Little job like you. I was getting a bit tired of the other job you were doing on the green car so this will be something new. Looking forward to the rest. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
I’m liking the Studebaker project !
