The man sure does know what he is doing. Never seems to get fazed or into a fafel. He will always find a way to resolve the issues.
a great work and a relaxing pleasure to watch. Thank you Brent.
I bet when you made a parts run to Princess Auto you had a crowd of admirers Brent! It's not like the truck is subtle or anything!😆
You can see that sucker coming a week away 😂
Sway bar is a must do - my 2 cents
Brent, you are remarkable, watching you figure things out to make everything work.
Nice Sunday morning watching Brent make stuff work
Excellent Video Brent :) I enjoy thois truck build also going not bad at all and be finished soon I bet in next month sometime Lol! Yes Pablo the Supervisor Dog 🐕 deserves a treat plus Buddy too!
Hey Hi again Halfass Kustoms Brent & Ester from the D Mi USA 😎 and thanks for sharing another great video of a really cool Truck build 💪🤩👍🔥💕😎
That plasma cutter makes life easier Brent!
C30 9' stepside box would look nice.
Hello Brent, nice job on the front end. She's going to drive and ride so much better. Take care 👍
Minty !
Thank You for sharing your video, and letting us hang out .
Later ...
Always enjoy the way you do things and make it extra strong and stable. That’s gonna be a pretty nice ride. Are you gonna shorten it and put a bed on that? Maybe some taller gears out of that motorhome anyways good job Brett.
I've had really good luck using a plasma to blow the holes through then finish then to size and cleanliness with the drill bit. Speeds up the process a lot in my experience
Sunday evening enjoyment at Brent's laboratory.
Brent, the 66 GMC Truck is getting there, soon it will on the road again, butt better. Cool Pablo getting his SNACK'S..
This thing is turning out awesome! But you're freaking me out Brent! I hope that Blue Chevy doesn't leak a drop of anything !
This is such a cool build...
Im not expecting "A Rip with Pablo" at the end, though....
WOW! BRENT! - THE BRAKE BOOSTER BRAKE CONNECTOR ROD IS TO SHORT, AND YOU'RE PUTTING THE. OLD BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER BACK ON IT! IF WHERE'S ANYONE CAN FIX! - YOU CAN!- BRENT! -TO ME! THAT ONE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER - LOOKS KINDA SMALL, BUT IT CAME OFF THAT TRUCK!, SO IT SHOULD BE JUST FINE 😊 THAT WAS NOT A EASY JOB, BUT YOU MADE IT LOOK EASY! I THINK ADDING ON A UNIVERSAL JOINT FOR THE STEERING WILL COMPLETE THE JOB!😅👍
It's a great project and your really using the new shop well the tools and lift make all your custom stuff go so smooth. Thanks D

Yeah might need to get those winter projects inside before that snow comes. Y'all do get a lot there. Keep up the great work and content
Thank you for the Sunday morning content Brent. There is some serious talent going into your friends truck. Take care.
thank for putting the Boss on at the end
You always work really hard. Hard work is very good for us. It keeps our senses alert and keeps us in touch with our mortality. I appreciate and admire what you do, your creativity, and tenacity, and your approach to life.
Thanks for sharing Nice truck Amazing stuff going on 💯👀
Truck will stop and steer great when you’re finished. 👍😎
Tuff but doable, no big deal for you Brent. Kyle had doors for the project that you helped Karls friend with. Still trying to figure out what kind of wheel to use to work with bigger fender openings
You should build another billding to keep and display all your cars and trucks.
A lot of those trucks had the Hydraboost system which would be great on that
Your truck would look great with your logo on the doors 😊
Thanks for the video and good music ! See Pablo is like my dog not a good catcher HaHaHa ! Have a good day Brent
Well you made it work. Camera angles stink. I thought it was too far forward. But I was wrong. My bad keep up the great work. I'll never second guess you again. Great video
You are one good handyman
Looking good 👍👍
You're a beast Brent no BS! 😉✌
Brent...you can fabricate anything brother.
Brent ,well done.
Awesome
A nice looking truk
nothing like cardboard CAD, works every time!!!
Where can a feller find the green socket arranger thingy?
Unlike others you do an excellent job of selecting music.
Extra Biscuits for Pablo!😊🛻🐕🦺🦮🇨🇦👍👍👍👍✌️
Hi My Dear Friend Very Very Great Job ❤❤❤❤❤
You have the perfect wobble joint, just cut the spline part off the bad rag joint and weld it to the wobble joint. I bought an adapter to change my brake pedal push rod. When it came in it was just a piece of threaded hex stock. You could make the same thing with your lathe. Good luck.
Three paint guns, one for priming, one for painting and a third as backup, while the others are being cleaned.
Those three plus the existing one, two or maybe three should be more than enough? ;-)
At 11:04; when I hear this music, I think od "Peanuts". ;-D
@BRENT : Did you consider mounting the steering box in a direct line with the steering rod/shaft and heating and bending the pitman arm?? I like the old rag joints in trucks like this. They help take some vibrations out of the steering wheel.. The last brake peddle rod I made, was made partly from the existing adjustable rod from the car and the rest was about half of a bent 3/8ths pushrod.. It was like they were meant to be together!! hahaha...
Looking forward to the study project, I was born into a Studebaker family. My earliest memories were in the back seat of my parents red 48 champion or my grand parents green 52 or later my parents 2 tone 54. Also my first ride was a 54 study pick-up, then later I built a 56 pick-up. with a Lincoln 460, love them.
I did this conversion some years ago . A dodge ram 1500 steering rack was my best solution . Have alot of pic of it on facebook
I like the conversion. I did a conversion to my 52 year old motorhome. I think from brake drums to brake discs you’re having a bit more problems and what I had though.👍👍👍👌
Man that's a lot of wheel gap in that fender. Small wheel looks off on that truck
Yeah... but you can at least get wheels and tires that bolt to these hubs....👍👍
Plus he’s not done yet. The guy wanted power steering and be able to get affordable tires.
I agree with the wheel gap but I think Brent said it’s going to be lowered, if I’m not mistaken!
This truck is super cool! It’s going to be bad ass when it’s all done
Super singles on all four corners
You got mighty handy with that Fast Cut table, nice piece of equipment ❤
Good to know!
Nice lookin red truck ! I like old big trucks
What a beautiful truck . I love it !
Brent you are amazing. I enjoy watching you innovate and problem solve.
You are so talented and can do about anything ,hats off to you, Pablo is a cool dog.
Cool build. Can’t imagine how many hours you saved by not doing a chassis swap…. 💪👍🏼
I enjoy your truck projects.
Its so different to see you working on a bigger scale project , in the long run its all the same thing , You just have more room to work with and less rust and decay . Looking forward to following along with you Stuart in Ontario ..
You are the best .. I love the way you put things together
Another sweet ride 👍
Loving this build. That front end works well.
The handiest man in Canada...
From the size of the vehicle, You will need a sway bar for stability. you went from a solid beam suspension to a independent suspension.
Good work on the Front end Brent Coming out nice what about building a box and then you could put the Wheels anywhere you want
I think semi wheels would look awesome on there
The old Michelobe micrometer!
Good video
Neat old GMC
thanks Brent i learn alot watchin u good show Keep on Truckin.😎👍
Great job Brent!!!
More please young man !
Wow someone got carried away with the bed liner 😂
Nice work Brent,,,,,👍🍺🍺
Wow i was thinking i was watching a Charlie brown xmas special 😂
Thanks for the video Brent.
Hey from MamaCard in Florida!
Thanks for another , Brother !
i think a stake bed would look good. i have 47 Studebaker 1 1/2 ton with stake side bed with fenders
Sway bar would definitely help with body roll
Another great video Brent. Thank you
❤️❤️❤️
Yeah!!!!
You do in a snap what other shops with multiple employees get done in a month.
Hopefully he'll relent and go with the flatbed/stakebed for it. Those heavy truck cabs never seem to look right with a regular truck bed on them.
Be ause people don't make the wheel wells match in size and don't add the flares like the front
The truck guy should get a dually box. There are companies that take boxes off pickup trucks when changing them over to utility trucks and sell them on ebay etc. There is a yard in Georgia USA that deals in truck parts if your interested.
Cool build. Can you move the fuel tank forward?
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Yes you can do it Peace out
👍
Brent I love your content I love your work. I love everything. BUT Getting towards the end of this video. I have to ask this question. "Why did you run the brake line thru the chassis ? When clearly there was enough gap to run it over ? "
You need a mastercyl. For disc/drum . Disc and drums need different oil pressure
like 11 !
QUESTION: The metal brake lines going through the frame. Should a bushing or insulator be added so the line won't rub the frame?
Is there a Princess Auto in Steinbach or do you have to drive to WPG ? Ok so do an 8 1/2 foot box. Really enjoying this project.
Have you thought about installing a hydraulic booster with the master off of a modern chevy truck? using the P/S pump? As to the box maybe make it 10ft by splicing two together the truck is so big that an 8ft box is going to look so small against that cab anyway
Coool work
I figured you would do a hydro boost on that truck
Gonna be so much better
5 tons a fun ta 1 ton
Brent I think I heard you said this build was for a customer or friend. What are the his plans for it? Could not get a better man to build this. Thanks for sharing! 💯💕👊👍
Yeah just a buddy of mine
