I think the hardest/the most difficult thing about being in LDR is trust. You can trust the other person how much you want, you can trust them for 100%, but you still won't exactly know what are they doing and if they're not lying to you.
Me and my wife from Thailand met in 2005 online when we were both at university. I went to meet her during summer holidays at her university. Married 2010 in Thailand, came to live in Suffolk, England and have been happy ever since :)
Aww that's such a sweet story! She must feel like England is her home now after being here for a decade? Me and the hubbie actually first met when we were in uni too 😊
Thank you madam👩 for making this video. I'm in a relationship. We are from different countries. I'm from India🇮🇳 and she is from Myanmar🇲🇲. Tomorrow we are going to be 5 month's complete. I'm a student of class 12 th and she's 3 rd year. We have good understand with each other.we talk every day in video call and voice call. We trust each other.
Thanks fir this video I am currently in a LDR and it is really extremely hard especially when it comes to the intimacy part I really feel bad for my man but I trust him
I got married to my thai wife in chiangmai in October 2019 .. we’ve not seen each other since due to visa delays caused by covid etc but finally she comes to U.K. in 3 weeks time .. long distance relationships are much more difficult I agree .. but if u love that person u can overcome any obstacles
Wow that’s great, sorry to ask but how did you cope with the lack of intimacy because I am also in a LDR and my man is really struggling to cope which worries me, I just need to hear for other people
Thanks for your experience. I too had a long term relationship, it can be difficult. You should do a video on the culture differences between you and your husbands family. Things you and he needed to adapt too!
Was in long distance relationship for 5 years. Was super financially broke. So as a programmer worked 100 hours per week to gather money just to reach her for once. Once I got the money visa officer rejected me for my sur name thought I am a terrorist. Tried several times but I am from third world so rarely got any visas. Over the years relationship deteriorated quickly. Then out of countless quarrels we triggered I heard the final bell that she ended it. Two years have gone and I didn't sober yet. Missing her everytime. Hope she finds a better person than me and be happy. Just I don't understand one thing, why it hurts soooooo much..
Just discovered your channel and loving it! You really deserve many more subscribers. You're obviously intelligent and well educated. Would you consider giving us your best advice for meeting well educated women in Thailand? I'm moving there indefinitely in a couple of months and I'd appreciate the info. Cheers! 😊
I think one thing you really need in a LDR is patience. I have been involved before in LDR and I am 2 months into one with a Thai lady so very early days.
I have had quite a few relationships, some close by some long distance, but it seems to me that unless the other person wants to share, to talk, to discuss, to support, then it will never be successful. I have met too many who are never going to marry, and you have to be honest about every relationship. Looking at the 30% divorce rate in the UK, it looks like many are meeting the wrong person
Yes true and I think that's one of the problems with dating these days people just don't seem to want to talk especially about feelings or sharing anything too personal
@@PoppyDontree ....I like to talk about everything and anything as I'm naturally curious....but I find most people prefer to say very little about most things....my best relationship she fitted like a glove...but there were other issues...
I'm 19 and half year's old and she is going to be 21 🙂. I said that age doesn't matter , I'm one year smaller than her. The main things that we love each other 🙂✌
Married to my Thai wife for 25 years. To power to believe in a each other when you have lifted a person out of her culture is difficult too. They have left their family and friends in another time zone to live with someone who has to commute to work. Left alone, like your doggy. You both have to believe in a Grand Passion.
Please advise me.I am already in a 10 year long distance relationship.I already reached my limit and started getting tired waiting. He told me that he will stay near me starting Christmas 2021. HOWEVER he left January 2022. He said he need more time to pay his bills in motorcycle and some debt. But I am getting tired and it is getting on my nerves. This cause conflict and figths between us everyday.what will I do ?
I'm not a relationship expert but I feel where you're coming from so do take this with a grain of salt. If it's been this long then it may be worth for you to do two things 1. Look back at the past 10 years and see if the relationship has progressed at all, I don't know how often you two make an effort to see each other 2. If the answer is that the relationship hasn't progressed then the second question should be "why"? There is a reason we do things. And once you find that answer, you'll know if it's worth waiting another year, 5 years or 10 years.
Hi m.s.poppy. My name is javed I'm from India. You know I love a Phillipine girl last 8 years we fight each other we cry each other on video call but we not seen each other face to face. You know I said to her I'm coming I'm coming I'm coming last 4 years but can't travel. But I'm still living for her only I had never find another or think about another girl in my life. Because she's my dream my heaven my love my life my hole world. Long distance relationship is honest true relationship are here till now. Some people's they only need to flirt and make call conversation then give up. But have some people who loved and lived only for her. Because that relationship is like heaven of life Im still love her I'm trying to go and see her face to face. But the problems is stopping me to travel. If you read my comment please make a video about our love please
My advice to both of you is learn a good skill such as web development learn together and you can earn money fast. My and my partner do medical engineering and it pays well which helped us to see each other fast
In the modern day, communication is much easier than the days of very expensive phone calls and snail mail. I much preferred only seeing the wife twice a year and having a holiday at the same time lol
💯 NO ...they are having all sorts of relationships ....an ABSOLUTE NO NO ...GET SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO BE WITH YOU .....because if that person truly wanted to be with YOU U both would be together in the SAME HOME...LDR ARE A JOKE FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE MORE THAN 1 PARTNER OR ARE ALREADY STAYING WITH 1 WAY WORSE...
A bit of a different one today guys. Feel free to share your own version and thoughts on long distance relationships :)

Hi Neil, thanks definitely a great idea!
Key point to consider

I like the editing on this one. Really nice video, and a lot of truth here.
Thank you! The editing did require more time I'm not going to lie but very pleased with how it came out 😊
