Thanks for the help. I edit my church's videos and I'm just a basic skill level. But their videos ALWAYS export out of sync even though they are originally in sync in the program. Even when I do this method, sometimes I have to do it twice or three times to get the render to be synced. I don't get it, but it makes me wanna go back to my ancient sony vegas program xD
You can also nudge the audio track with keyboard commands when you want to fine-tune the placement of the track, rather than relying solely on manually clicking and dragging.
I am doing a presentation on premier pro 2025 and its an acrostic poem and my voice over is going through each line of the poem faster than the images of the slides I imported play on the video preview any suggestions on how to fix this please bare in mind I am Autistic??
You can try adjusting the audio clip's speed or duration to match the slide transitions in Premiere Pro, and if needed, break the audio into smaller clips to sync with each slide more accurately.
@MikeRussell I am relatively new to adobe creative software I started a creative course at university this year currently in my foundation year I haven't yet tried to edit audio in any form I need the duration to stay at the minute amd 10 seconds long as my assessment needs to be at the least a minute long so I guess I will need to look at altering the speed but knowing how to do so is a completely different matter which is why when I am not at university and unable to speak with my tutors I tend to look for tutorials to help me

Glad this method helps, and sorry to hear you're still experiencing sync issues - hopefully, we can troubleshoot further to get to the bottom of it!
A bit faster way of manual syncing would be adding a marker on both clip and audio so it connects easier
That's a great tip, I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos on manual syncing!
Mike! Thanks for posting this video.
You're welcome!
Hi Mike! Thanks for the video. Can you please tell me how to avoid unwanted clip shifts when synchronizing audio? Thanks.
You can avoid unwanted clip shifts by linking items in the right click menu.
Linking it doesn’t work - the second I move the clip it shifts back to where it was
Could you do a video of this with how to do this program with voice acting
That's a great idea, I'll definitely consider creating a voice acting tutorial video in the future!

That's a fantastic tip!
My girlfriend just asked me why I'm listening to a radio ad on TH-cam hahaha, that voice
Nice. I’ll take that!

I was hoping not to have to resort to that manual nudging of days past, how I used to have to do things.
I feel you! Sometimes you just gotta go back to the basics, right? Old school methods have their charm!
Thanks!
