Yet again I learn something. Never explored bath processing or the loudness matching! Wow. Thanks Mike. I use AA for editing live gig recordings - partly as a VST host but also using the internal tools. Markers are very handy for marking up where each song starts, converting those markers to ranges and then exporting the single WAV out as separate tracks using those range markers at the end of the process. AA is really indispensable. And there's always more to try, as you just showed. Thanks!
Hey Mike! Can you tell me how to match my audio to a time stamp? Say I record a voiceover to be 15s in 12 seconds, how can I match the audio, is there a speed up or slow down feature?
You can use the "Time Stretch" or "Pitch Shift" feature in your video editing software to match the audio to the desired timestamp, or use the "Rate" or "Speed" adjustment tool to speed up or slow down the audio to fit.
Hi Mike, there's something really simple I want to know how to do in Audition. In the multitrack, when you play back audio from somewhere in the middle, the cursor moves forward, leaving a 'ghost' cursor where you started. There must be an easy way to jump back to this ghost cursor to play back the same bit again (but not have it on repeat). Do you know how? Would love a video on this. Also on my wish list is putting an echo on a voiceover so the words are repeated, but get fainter and fainter (ie, not reverb) - I hope you know what I mean!
I'll look into making a video about those exact topics, especially the cursor jump back feature, and I think I know what you mean by the echo effect - sounds like a cool idea!
Hey, how do you remove the sound effects from a video/music in Audacity. Like, in a song, a car horn is played. How can I remove/separate that. And how can I make it sound pure?
You can try using the "Noise Reduction" effect in Audacity to isolate and remove the sound effect, and then use the "Equalization" effect to enhance the remaining audio!
I keep having an issue where audition stops my recording and does some weird soft crash where I cant record or listen to previous recordings but I can still push buttons and stuff but theres no evidence of a response. Im using mv7+ focusrite 2ii2 xlr and have i7 32 gb ram
Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Audition, and I'd recommend checking for updates or resetting the preferences to see if that resolves the problem!
Hi, I’m from India, and I want to change the accent of my own voice (from Indian English to American English). Is this possible? If yes, please share a solution.
Yes, it's definitely possible to modify your accent with practice, dedication, and the right resources, and I'd be happy to share some tips and tutorials to help you get started!

How can I remove Plosives in Audacity? Also can I export files in Audacity with prefixes attatched to them, too?
Roll off the low end with EQ.
