It was released in Atlantis, Pompeii, Babylon and Shangri-La, so that should tell you how it all turned out.
My sides hurt from laughing at your reactions to this movie. If I'm reading you correctly, this movie is so bad that people would have walked out of it on an airplane. Thanks for suffering for all of our betterment.
This one was brutal.
After seeing those 3d graphics I was like "oh. Ok, this movie was made in the early 90s" but then I kept thinking.... and I looked it up. THIS MOVIE WAS MADE IN 2009. I can't believe what I'm seeing.
It's utterly insane.
Few interesting facts I dig up:
-This film cost 5millions USD out of which 40k went towards film rest was for cgi!
-You are not wrong film took 10 years to make!
I'm sure the only reason why this movie was made was to laundry money, since start. That was also why the director used pseudonym and wanted film elements to be burn after almost non existent release. This here was part of a felony.
I think they found an old CD-ROM of After Dark screen savers and tried to make a movie around it.
It’s worth noting this movie came out the same year that Avatar, Star Trek, District 9, and Transformers 2 came out. All of those films had ground breaking cgi/vfx that shaped visual effects today😂

I had to look this up once you said it was released in theaters, and here is a actual review: can really only be described as a lesson in self control because at first, I wanted to leave, then I wanted to scream at the movie, then it became funny, and then it reached that level where it crawls under your skin and agitates you with the questions that rise from having been witness to it."[5]

This movie is the shits...my goodness. Reading the wiki on the production of this movie is simply incredible. A $5 million budget, and they shot it all in one house in 5-6 days and goddamn does it show.

No way. Very, very rarely do producers tell you what a movie cost to make. Waterworld for instance is known for claiming it's budget is way higher than what experts believe it is afaik. Just like Things from 1989 claimed it cost 35 000 USD but yet it's obviosly shot on 8 mm/super 8. For 35 000 they would have used at the very least 16mm and nothing in the movie supports that it cost anything more than an amateur budget. It's basically a hobby film made by a few buddies in a cabin. As far as ALS goes I had a friend who did 3D animation for a hobby in around year 2001, and the animations he did were similar to the ones I saw on the trailer of After last season. There is no way this movie cost anything close to 5 million usd. Remember Friday the 13th is claimed to have cost 500 000 usd to make, and Cannibal Holocaust claimed 100 000 usd both shot in 1980. The rule of thumb is that if a movie is made for a very low budget they brag how they did it for less than it cost. If a movie costs a lot of money they usually go the other way and brag that it cost much more. Just basic marketing strategy.

I love that Erin is a more regular part of the show now. I would say that more hosts = better episode. 2 is good, 3 is better, and 4 is only for the epic of epics of bad movies. The commentary is delightful chaos for those XD

The best theory I’ve heard for the paper is that it was there as a reference point for adding cgi in post. But they either ran out of money, or the animator bailed, and they had to release the movie as is.

This is the third bad movie show I’ve seen this movie reviewed on, and in every case, someone at some point comes to the conclusion that the film maker must have been mentally disturbed.
If that’s supposed to be an MRI scanner it needs to be loud. Put earmuffs on people and add suitable noise and it’s appreciably nearer realistic. Still looks like paper and cardboard, but…

I had to find some information on this. It said it was shot in only 5 or 6 days in one house with sets made from cardboard. It had a budget of only $5 million.

Black ninja: dudes wearing literal brightly colored ninja suits that say "nin" on the front and "ja" on the back, and the camera work is so bad the black lead character's face has most of his features obscured by terrible lighting.
The other movie is called "black rage" i believe its a vanity project where two slaves escape the plantation but one of the brothers is albino....its the director btw who wanted to be on the movie so bad that he just said "he's albino" so it might be the only case of white black face

I mentioned this in the comments of your live stream. This piece of shit cost about $5 million to make, if you can believe that. The director created a bunch of fake accounts on IMDB and praised his own movie for how avant garde it was and how it took the road less traveled. It is a mystery how the hell they got away with this.

Ralph The Movie Maker did a good video on this one, and he tried to figure out what the hell happened to the money. We're talking Room levels of cash, but Tommy Wiseau actually BOUGHT movie cameras and got professionals to film it all for his cash. This is just an amatuerish turd and someone walked away rich.

This was rough. I can legitimately say that I built better set pieces in high school play production nearly two decades ago. If you guys want to see the worst movie that I've ever seen check out The Misty Green Sky from 2016. It's 100% CGI that's on the level of the old Transformers Beast Wars cartoon.
