    It's really worth watching it. Please post some videos on performance claims. Factors influencing the performance ( WF , Currents) . Tks

    Very useful video. Even I’m also chief officer of bulk carrier and found good content. Can you pls give link to all the forms you have used for calculation.

    As i observed sir base on your draft 12.0m at density 1.020 and you get the displacement at hydrostatic, at what corresponding draft in the hydrostatic you take? as we knew that draft at hydrostatic table are based in seawater density which is 1.025

    Why is the Displacement at Sea the same as the Displacement at (Hansaport FW Density being 1) whereas the Density of water at sea is SW 1.025 or at Murmansk BW 1.02 ? Please clarify as I am a little confused.

    • @funnel2tunnel360
      @funnel2tunnel360  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dinos! Note that the leg ECA area to Hansaport (just before the arrival port) is considered to be out at Sea therefore the density is taken as 1.025. However, the next row showing the Port Arrvival at Hansaport we have taken the density to be 1.
      Similarly, for the leg At Sea-Murmansk (just before arrival port) is taken at sea with density 1.025
      However, at port Murmarnsk we have taken the density as 1.02.
      BUT THE ONLY LIMITING POINT AT MURMANSK IS DRAFT WHICH IS 12.00 MTRS, AND PRE-STOW PLAN IS MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THAT LIMIT.
      Hope it clears!

      @@funnel2tunnel360 im also still consufes same question with dinos. your calculation displacement from 76837 to arrival port using consumption etc is correct 76731. but is based on density water 1.020. in arrival port is 1.000. so we need correction of density . (76731 x 1.000 ) / 1.020 = 75226. so conclusion is whats correct arrival displacement is 76731 (1.020) or 75226 ( 1.000 ) ? please explain to us..

      The displacement of 76837 mt is the displacement corrected for density 1.020.

    Please clarify, that on load port final displacement is based on density 1.020 or 1.025. Density correction is necessary or not?

    • @funnel2tunnel360
      @funnel2tunnel360  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes the final displacement at Loading port will always be based on the density of water in which the ship is floating.
