I have searched for a basic sample calculation which explains from the beginning for so long. Everybody stars to explain from the middle of the topic so you really get confused but finally I found this video. Thank you so much, *respect*
All I`ve heard is really short and clear, keep the way you move ! I study by your videos and every one gives me more knowledges, so I look forward to new videos
Big Thanks to you captain ! I'm doing a training of Master degree in port and maritime management and you really help me to improve my level. From Senegal.
Thanks for your good explaining sir, I prefer to calculate the trim also with the formula = displacement*BG (BG=LCB-LCG)/MCT 1CM *100 where LCG= Total mom/Final Displacement.
Many thanks for the video. I just wonder why 1:32 you said one is wrong thinking the vessel is trimmed to the forward. And I presume it would be interesting to learn how can these matters be implemented on board. For example, why do some vessels sail trimmed by head and others by stern or on an even keel.
So it means the location of Center of Flotation or LCF has move forward from midship of 101.25 cm? And since the location is in forward the LCF will become negative sign (-) 1.013 Meters from the midship. Capt this is correct?? Please reply Thanks
First of all, thank you, Captain, for your useful projects! In this lesson there is one thing that is not clear to me. Do we have also to take into consideration light ship Center of Gravity (also other stores)? Or you just simplified calculations for training purposes?
Very long time I tryed to understand that things, and more of my questions are had answers. But I have a question Dear Captain, 1200t per cm, how I should chose it. After calculation , I find the deferent between aft and for, and I should to chose in table correct different in my draft and find MTC, is it correct? Thank you in advance. Best regards.
Sir can you load multi vedio for Once any loader like s.p.m.t trailer roll from land to the barge then how to calculate the ballasting and preballasting calculation. If you can load vedio part by part please. Then stability of barge calculation as well.
I'm trying to figure out how did you get 66K in the 6th row? #6 had 3K for Weight × 25 = 75,000. Which would make the final trim 112,500. Then, 112,500/1200 = 93.75cm Correct me if I'm wrong. ?
I'm an AB & first time I tried to learn about trim. This is very informative video...
Abound of thanks sir....🎉❤

Awesome video Captain 👩✈️ helped me with my cargo study 🙏🙏
Thank you for your training videos. A lot of useful information.

Thanks it helps alot .. more videos capt.
What a great video! Thank you very much!

Not clear, the location of LCF not mentioned if AFT or FWD of midship.
Now its been 3years I still seeking the procedures on How to Calculate the LCF just to determined if it is in the forward or Aft Position.😢
Where do I get MTC=1200?
Thanx, nice explanation...

Simplified

Could you make more videos about ECDIS particularly PASSAGE PLANNING and steering in open sea
Sure, coming soon.
Thanls Capt
Thank you captain
Please how did you find the total trimming moment forward ... please explain the process again
How are you getting -66000 in compartment 6?
How about center of flotation
Sir can you load multi vedio for
Once any loader like s.p.m.t trailer roll from land to the barge then how to calculate the ballasting and preballasting calculation. If you can load vedio part by part please. Then stability of barge calculation as well.
For this example, the hydrostatic table should have been shown at the appropriate mark.
What is trim?
Fond size very small for visibility
more thanks I AM somali
Cap, but in your calculation you haven't assumed light ship's LCG of and its moment. Moreover , other s ( bunkers )you have on board or going to have.

Correct me if I'm wrong. ?
Right calculations isn't goal of this video.
You are correct sir
👍
Your calculation is change of trim. İt is not final trim.
He just calculated how is ship’s trim???
So where is the trim? is it trim by the stern or trim by the bow?
See end of video. He said summ of moments aft and summ of for , then look what is more, that will be your trim.
👍
