Next video will be a comprehensive review of Gundam Evolution's state at launch. I want to spend enough time playing all the new suits and maps to have a complete opinion before I start recording it, and a significant portion will be talking about the microtransactions.
That dude said if she loses she leaves school. There was no agreement on taking over the fiance. Im thinking of she is winging it as long as he is out so he cant chicken out and just get away with a apology or something as meaningless without breaking of the engagement. Poor Suletta is geting duped either way ,-).
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the similarities to Utena.

Season 1 of Witch of Mercury is done in split cours, so my hopes is we will see a consistency in the animation itself. There's a short novel between prologue and ep 1. The novel was told from Aerial's point of view and the novel was written to tie in to the opening theme of the series. Suletta's mom send her to school to enact revenge without her knowing. Only her mom and Gundam Aerial knows about the plot. Mercury is a shit hole and very dangerous planet.
Is there an English translation of the novel anywhere?

From my perspective, it looked like Miorine still had Suletta's phone/interface device and accessed Gundam Aerial using it.
Personally, I think Miorine might’ve been committing suicide similar to how Rose considered suicide in Titanic. If she was waiting for someone, she trusted the wrong person because she was running out of air and there was no one else in the immediate area.
I still can’t get over the fact that the main Gundam start’s out with what are essentially funnel’s as part of its basic starting equipment. For those that don’t know normally for a Gundam show remote weapons like that doesn’t show up until mid to late season. So it’s got me wondering what the main Gundam’s mid to late season upgrade is going to be.
She didn’t let her pilot Gundam Ariel pretty sure got access when she took her notebook thing and said she was putting the school’s map app on it
it seems plausible that the disparate corporations in the prologue stopped fighting when they were unified through being acquired by the Benerit Group.
I'm hopping the politics isn't forgotten...
The top pilot at the school is always the fiancé. So as soon as she won against the top pilot she became the number 1 and instantly the fiancé. Also she stole Suletta's access to Aerial when she installed the maps app on her PDA.
I have never seen Utena but a friend of mine i got to watch this said it gave her Utena vibes. She also said the writer Ichiro Okuchi wrote two Utena novelizations.
the first episode is nearly beat for beat utena hehe. love it >:)

@@kitkami absolutely! its extremely revolutionary (pun intended) for its handling of lesbian characters and gender nonconformity. great show!
The writer from this show also did: Revolutionary Girl Utena 1: Ao no Sōjo (1998) and Revolutionary Girl Utena 2: Midori no Omoi (1998).
However if you read the novel this is where the similarities end. Suletta was tasked by her mother to infiltrate this school as well as to win the duel and seduce Delling's only daughter.

The prologue gave me hope that this won't be another "gundam game for kids" like we've seen the past few years. Now we have another school anime, stuck-up rich kids with superiority issues, in school playing fighting battles inside their custom made mobile suits, all paid by their CEO daddies.
I wanted WAR, GRIT, DEATH, CAMARADERIE in the battlefield and hopefully, a GOOD STORY. Just like the original, Wing, Seed, Destiny(not you Shin), 00, IBO was the last, and that was a long, long time ago. I don't think dropping this at the first episode is fair, but I really do hope they move away from that soon.
Now all I have to look forward to are the cool gunpla designs.
I expect the school to get attacked and destroyed within the first 5 episodes. Even Wing had a school setting that passed pretty quickly.
If it's not gridy like iron blood orphans then no thank you. From all the Gundam shows I have seen IBO was the more realistic to reality, shows the dark side of the world, no matter how much wishful thinking you wish to create peace there at times that there is nothing you can do, but fight back, kill your enemy, move on, and hope for the best. If this shows comes out to be more on the whole idea of peace and try to win/end a war without killing someone then I m skipping this anime all together.

Not into Yuri, mecha fights were sub par, the MC is annoying as hell. I think I'll drop this show unfortunately. The prologue gave me hope, but the first episode completely flopped for my taste on what I was expecting.

@@Ridonkulus blood, gore, mecha fights lasting more than 5 seconds like the prologue like I said. It had my attention and was excited, but it turned into a generic Yuri anime at the end.
@@Nasty_J You seem oddly triggered by just the potential Yuri flag when all signs point to it being a useful ploy/plot device. Gundam has never been heavy on blood or gore, not to mention the prologue has clearly set up Suletta to handle Permet codes fine and the current setting being a school was known well ahead of time. There's a total of 4 mobile suit scenes, with Aerial coming out for the space rescue being a clear Gundam trope subversion where they usually don't show the main suit until the end of ep 1. Man, where are you coming from????
@@Ridonkulus I said I don't like Yuri it's not my taste nice reading comprehension lol, not. 00Gundam, Orphans, wing, and Seed have an extent of gore and blood. I'm not against Romance, or love in Gundam he it a man/woman woman/woman etc, but putting it in the first episode where the winner of a Gundam duel, and number 1 pilot is the "holder" ,and fiance to a girl like a trophy is weird my man. I know you want your agenda pushed, but that's just weird in my book. No Gundam has done that, and the only example of romance that was done correctly at the End was G Gundam with Rain and Domon. Once again it was at the end =] all the MC were not as annoying as this red haired one, and that for me was the nail in the coffin. They could have made a badass female lead like Lacus from seed but instead they made this and a tsundere white haired co-lead protagonist lol.
@@Ridonkulus this Gundam hasn't been the first to be a "school setting" btw. I don't know where you're heading with this, and I'm not sure you even watched any Gundam at this point lol.
friendly reminder that gundam wfm also has a prologue episode (ep0) prior to episode 1. and if u are also interested, do read the short story also. it is a backstory about their life in mercury, but seen through aerial's perspective. the story also mentioned the reason why their mother decided to sent them both to the school
