It is ultra fast in the mountains. I doubt if any 1000cc can do better there. The SP version is a better bike due to Ohlins suspension. To set things straight, we are not better or more cleaver than Moor. It happens to tune the bike at optimal weather conditions with probably higher octane fuel. Tuners tricks 🤣🤣👍🇯🇵 Well done Moor! Kept that bike for almost 20 years....all the others, sold off after 2-3 years. 200 bHP for the track? LOVE it!! For the street? Not necessary, really.
I have a 2020 Yamaha Tracer 900GT, the same engine as the MT-09. With an Akrapovic exhaust and ECU flash it will probably do everything the MT-09 can on the street but a much more comfortable riding position and hard panniers for long trips.

Laugh if you will but I have this bike, same exhaust, competent flash and it is a blast! More respectable from 0 to about 120 than you might think. Unfortunately, akra is about the ONLY exhaust available for '21 and upcoming '22 cause of covid/backorder problems.
I bet it rides harder, but the point of the 21+ is the predictable power not the on off throttle You can see on the graph how flat the oem curve is, compared to what the final result is
Did yall turn off the TCS assists before dyno. I see at 1:41 its in "1" mode for TCS which can actuallty be turned to off which will actually change the throttling it respnds so much better.
Wonder if you'll be able to flash a 2021 Tracer 9 GT since it's effectively the same powerplant and electronics. I'll be picking up a new Tracer 9 next week.

I'm seriously thinking about having you flash my MT 09 - SP - ECU. Do you have your profiles pre-programed for a one button process or do you have to walk through and tweak every single cell of the program on each one? Also, when you show the ECU program on your screen, is that just #1 rider mode map that you are looking at of the 4 different rider modes?? And then you have to tweak them all individually? Or do you just Add a 5th , totally unrestricted map to library,.....Or is there only one master to change and then the 4 rider modes all chip away at that using their own algorithms? I kind of want to understand what I'm doing to all of the factory pre-sets and if they will still be available should I ever want or need to access them in the future. Also, can you do this by just having the ECU sent or do you need the bike to verify the dyno results?
Very late response, but yes, you can just tune one of the drive modes. The other ones will stay stock. You could even if you wanted for example make mode 4 (rain mode) your strongest mode
110 hp at the wheel = ok. / respectable for a stock bike. Fully dyno-tuned (running not too lean / rich with much improved driveability), also depending if you drop the stock exhaust for an Akrapovic full system with / without the db-killer and the cat, you should see a gain of 7 - 13 hp (at the wheel) at the top end 😎🏁🏁
I saw that too. I honestly believe with a shorter exhaust that it would be more substantial of a difference . The Akro adds a lot of length to the exhaust, possibly too much. Have to wonder too about that open airbox I've seen more than a few bikes tuned for bottom mid from factory that altering the air Intake area hurts them more than help. Be great see a reflash stock vs the different mods.

I'd be worried that the ram air effects on the intakes at speed out on the road would make it run lean.. does this gen3 09 use a wide band lambda?

Euro 5 is mostly about emissions, so removing emission equipment will give more power, if that's what they did
