I had a great running '18 mt09, yosh/flashed, K-Tech front & rear....the guy I bought it from spent almost as much as the bike cost on aftermarket, best of everything. I bought a new '21 mt09 and even though it was still stock, I could tell it wasn't going to be enough for me in the end, I'm a 61 yr old juvenile. I found a blue '18 mt10 this weekend that had 1k mi on it advertised for $10k. I got him down to $9700, I love this thing even though they GUZZLE the gas. I am losing all the cool new electronics on the 3rd gen mt09....it's still a good trade IMO. They are cheaper to modify because all you really have to do is buy a midpipe rather than the whole exhaust as you have to do on the mt09. Bumping 150hp of pure midrange grunt on these things is fun, I had a chance to ride one about a year ago. I'm just going to do the cat delete/midpipe and flash, stock can/slip-on actually sounds/works great. All you yamaha haters, these things are a blast and sound awesome!👍. I can't keep both bikes, guess which one I'm going to sell.🙂 Thanks again Chris for the awesome content and sharing your wealth of knowledge with us!
Got my 21 mt10 flashed from you and love it. Made 145hp amd 75tq while running slightly lean (still perfectly safe) but sent it back to you and you added 5-7% more fuel. Going back to the dyno early spring to see where she's at now.
Great job , so just to clarify you had the leo vince decat pipe , stock baffle and pair block off plates , did you have stock air filter ? , seems like the best mods for price and power gains as it's probably best loosing 2hp and keep engine much cleaner with stock filter 👍🏼👌🏼
@@bccapone837 no it's a competition werkes 3/4 exhaust system. Other than that it's all stock. Since then I've had it dyno tuned and made 151hp and 78tq.
Worth every penney even after getting screwed by customs to send from Canada. Real cost for me was around $400. Biggest improment was the throttle response and smoothness compared to the factory settings which were odd and uneven in some rev ranges. And definitely a power increase. I did the mid pipe and high flow air filter as well on my MT-10
I’m posting this without Moore Mafias awareness or compensation of any kind... Good results deserve to be mentioned... The ecu flash that they did woke up my old 08 600 gsxr. (Sold the bike) At the track I was giving liter bikes a run for the money. You’ll be happy with the performance results.
@Gods Grace I can vouch for that as well. My 2021 GSXR1000R was a beast before. Since the ecu flash it’s a beast on steroids 🦾 Definitely makes a difference.
I sent my ecu off on Monday(12-13) and it was delivered on Wednesday(12-15) flash and back in the mail the same day and should have it Friday(12-17). I haven’t got it back but I’m super happy with customer service and hope that it and the rest of my upgrades arrive by the weekend.
Mey Chris, I tossed my 2021 R1 that you flashed on the dyno today. AFR was spot on from 7k up, but it was a bit lean down low and a bit rich in the mid range... Nothing to concern myself with, it runs strong. Very happy.

Hey Chris, I have a 2008 Yamaha R6 with a y pipe and a sc project slip on. Now I still have the honeycomb inside the header should I remove it or leave it in? I see a lot of guys removing it but I wanted to see if you can flash my ECU or would I need a dyno tune?
Hey guy, I just recently purchased a 21 mt10 in CA, I'm a active duty service member so purchasing another motorcycle from a different state wasn't an option for me. With that being said I went for my first oil change and the mechanic told me that I have a restricted motorcycle and since I bought the motorcycle in Cali, and I am no longer there. I could unlock more CC from my bike (Not by Mods but by possibility rewiring). Idk how much this is true but I would love for some extra option on the matter. Thank you!

Adding muffler and or exhaust slipons and then deleting the cat is gonna definitely lean the bike out all he probably did on that 2nd run was richen the fuel through entire rpm range timing probably didn't get touched
When I had mine remapped with the same software in the UK it made almost exactly the same power as this one and made no difference to the fuel consumption, the bike was so much better to ride that I didn't really care that it was still an EMPTY-10 with a safe 120 mile range in normal riding, my record was 65 miles from fill-up to warning light... That was on the Isle of Man mountain section (no speed limit).
I have just sent in my ECU to Moore Mafia for a flash and have received the Tracking Number for the return!! Can't wait to put it back in the MT10 and experience the results! I usually struggle to hit 100 miles on a tank before the reserve light turns on.
Personally don't think that dyno run was worth it. Especially if there wasn't that many aftermarket upgrades made after the initial mail in flash. Kudos on a great mail in flash tho.
When I get my Mt 10 I'm going to make sure I have you tune the ECU . Do you think porting and polishing the head / cam would be beneficial on that bike..??
Why do I keep seeing A/Fs at 13.2-13.4 on most every video and most SS bikes with ram air that will run even leaner as speeds increase. Look how many people online have sent their ecus back for added fuel. Do your research people. Not hating. Also not nut hugging. No idea why any tuner would be running bikes that lean for primarily street use…..
This guy makes mods, which does NOT include a much better high performance exhaust, but then spends the cash on the dyno tune? Come on man......first things first.....

@@jacksonjames1279 Stock exhaust, Leo mid-pipe. That alone made it much louder. Definitely worth the ECU flash. Throw in a high flow air filter also.

I just picked up a 2020 MT10 It still has AIS but has Competition Werkes Exhaust, no cats, no resonator. I'm concerned about the AFRs.

So when you were testing your theory at the track, what afr ratio did you see your best times at?
