It's cool Marvel's going back into doing animation that's separate with unquie art styles. I'm hoping this show delivers certain aspects that were missing around Tom's adaption.
I, and my best friend who is a huge Spider-Man fan, both agree that separating the show from the MCU ultimately allows it to have far more creative freedom to do what it wants. While having the backstory of MCU Peter would be nice to least fill in some blanks, I genuinely think this show will be better off without that tie to limit what it can do (like, for example, it was mentioned in No Way Home that Oscorp doesn't exist in the MCU).
It's an MCU animation that shows an alternate universe Spider-Man, hence why there is an Oscorp or Osborn characters compared to the main MCU timeline.

I just wanna see if Uncle Ben is gonna be in the show, and I know the mcu kinda ignored him but at the end of the day he plays an important role being the reason Peter became Spider-Man
I think he will. The way the spider made its way to Peter may be similar yet different from what exactly happened in the MCU Sacred Timeline, but he's gonna go down this road eventually where his arrogance will lead to Uncle Ben's murder, which will transform him into the full-time do-good superhero that we all know and love. At this point, considering what happened in No Way Home, I can assume that we won't be expecting Uncle Ben to tell him about this phrase: "With great power, there must also come great responsibility." Not to mention, the MCU did allude to that in a very subtle way, even the BFP suitcase in Far From Home. And a certain branched timeline variant of MCU Spidey said Uncle Ben's name out loud for the very first time. This series will definitely help fix this issue.
Absolutely agree with this. Also we need more inspirations from the comics to better mold live action and animation. Most Spider-Man media made between the first Raimi film to now takes some inspiration mostly from either the 90’s cartoon, the Brian Michael Bendis run of Ultimate Spider-Man or anything from Dan Slott’s run. Sure we get iconic moments like Peter lifting the rubble but those are nods to the comics rather than storyline adaptations like how Spider-Man 2(2004) loosely adapted Spider-Man No More Considering that some spidey storylines like the Hobgoblin and Clone Saga had background drama that led to those storyarcs being disappointing I think writers could benefit from it by readapting those storylines in a way that’s better written and has a good payoff. Like for example I would love to see a proper live action black costume storyline that leads to Eddie Brock getting the suit and not a rehash of putting Harry Osborn in it cause I like Harry but Venom is not Venom without Eddie or Spider-Man. So far the 90’s cartoon and Spectacular Spider-Man did a good job of adapting that story
I honestly was really excited to see a spiderman show that was the origin story for MCU's spidey. Now that it's not gonna be that, and it's just gonna be a "what if" kind of thing, I guess i'm fine with it. I'll support it, especially after hearing what you said in this video about it still being cool for trying to be its own thing. But still, it would've been awesome to get a series that focused on the origin story of MCU's spidey.

The multiverse is such a useful concept but so far they have failed to use it in any unique way. I wish they would stop trying to connect everything and just go wild with it. In my opinion, you could go as funky as you want with the plot, characters, adaptations, or the genre. Who cares. I just want anyone who has a decent idea to get a shot at doing a fun movie. Its almost the end of the "Multiverse" Saga and I've yet to be inspired by the "infinite" possibilities they've shown us.

Not going to lie but there has been to much "MCU" related content that why does literally now everything has to be tied into the MCU? Not everything needs to be either connected to the MCU or even as a what if scenario. Like.. Make marvel zombies not a mcu what if spin-off from the one what if episode. Just make it Marvel Zombies from the comics and not the MCU like everything else*. I like the MCU but it's getting to the point where everything is now having to be connected to it or be related to it and that's the problem if anything. *And my point about this is that their using the comics logo for something that isn't even related to the comics counterpart. I would rather watch stuff that isn't always MCU related tie-ins or what if stuff of the MCU either. So again, NOT everything needs to be tied into or related in anyway to the MCU.
can you make a video about what other Superhero Shows deserve a revival? besides Spectacular Spider-Man they're are so many superhero shows that got canceled that deserve a revival Like 1. Avengers EMH 2. X-Men Evolution. this one pisses me off the most bc the ONLY reason that Marvel canceled Season 5 and beyond was bc they couldnt sell enough toys................................................im being serious. Also dont listen to Troyoboyo17 that guy is quite literally one of the worst/toxic comicbook channels ive ever seen. most of his takes and prewrites are genuily awful and he's also one of those people who said that Tom in his trilogy felt like iron boy jr even though the whole point of the first two movies was him being his own hero........................................................ 3. Teen Titans 2003 4. Batman Beyond 5. Spider-Man TAS 6. The ZETA Project
The movie tie-in cartoon, but not really, isn't anything new when you think about it. The 2003 "Spider-Man the New Animated Series" cartoon was a tie-in with the first Sam Raimi movie, but it obviously over its 1 season run didn't build upon anything seen in the first film, nor did it share the same established tone. The only thing it had in common was the movie's costume design. This is basically doing the same thing only difference being that Marvel can just say "different timeline" to explain everything away which the old show couldn't. The 2005 Fantastic Four cartoon I think was also made to tie into the Fox movie, but it did the same thing as the 2003 Spider-Man. Which is just vaguely look like the movie in question to get the characters more into the public consciousness so they'll want to see more. I'm sure that there's other examples too.
Man , I wanted to be excited for this show so bad, but everything I hear makes me less and less excited about this show. Not only does it feel like a big budget version of the last 2 , not only are we AGAIN with a spider-man in high school, but there are barely any spider-man characters on here. It's like another spider-man,but with none of the good things about that show, and that one had OC'S place of comicbook characters like the mcu does. If this is what marvel does without sony, then i'm glad sony still has the rights even with the bad spin offs. I hope it's entertaining and a good show at least. I'll give it a chance, but man do I want an X-men 97/invincible like show for spider-man for once
Imagine they make this spider-man appear in secret wars and it’s like 2 Tom hollands interacting with each other lmao Or they get an entirely new younger actor to play him lol
Since Tom Holland's MCU Spider-Man contract is under Sony (which limits his involvement to movies only), unfortunately no. Thankfully, Marvel Studios found Hudson Thames, who does a spectacular Tom Holland voice impression.
What are you talking about in the MCU Peter is Spiderman use your brain the reason it is right as characters shown in screenshots were met by him after the series took place if the show was part of the MCU
I’m sorry man. There’s so many Spider-Man shows we don’t just need another Spider-Man show. Give us a Spectacular Spider-Man season 3 or let the creatives on the 90s Spider-Man show finish their storyline. I mean shoot I rather see a second season of the mtv Spider-Man show then this. This seems like it would be a great comic book! But this definitely doesn’t need to be a show and it’s unfortunate that it might be taking the place of a continuation of one of many cut short spidey tv shows
That's quite unfair since Spider-man fan's have been feasting with many content every year than any other marvel hero. And no matter how u feel, many generations to come will have their version of Spider-man, like, with Batman, Superman, exc.
The mentality that this needs to be MCU canon is the kind of mentality that prevents us from getting actual classic Spider-Man shows

I’m a big Marvel fan, and I want everything they do to succeed, but they have to put in the work to make it happen. Also…we want Spider-Man ‘98!
I have faith in this new show.
Same, hyped for a new Spidey show period
Sony: spiderman related movies without spiderman connectivity
Mcu: forceful connectivity over everything
I'm hyped
Same
I’m just happy that one of my favorite actors is in it.
can you make a video about what other Superhero Shows deserve a revival? besides Spectacular Spider-Man they're are so many superhero shows that got canceled that deserve a revival Like
1. Avengers EMH
3. Teen Titans 2003
4. Batman Beyond
5. Spider-Man TAS
I'll give it a chance, but man do I want an X-men 97/invincible like show for spider-man for once
are people mad that the show isn't part of the shitty movie timeline??
Imagine they make this spider-man appear in secret wars and it’s like 2 Tom hollands interacting with each other lmao
Or they get an entirely new younger actor to play him lol
The MCU would ruin it.
It is in the mcu tom Holland is playing spider man in this
No, he isn't.
@@A-hole_Industries part of phase 5 of the mcu
Hudson Thames is voicing Spider-Man in this show.
@@A-hole_Industries it a new actor playing him
Since Tom Holland's MCU Spider-Man contract is under Sony (which limits his involvement to movies only), unfortunately no. Thankfully, Marvel Studios found Hudson Thames, who does a spectacular Tom Holland voice impression.
it can't be canon to the mcu because in this continuity peter parker becomes spider-man
What are you talking about in the MCU Peter is Spiderman use your brain the reason it is right as characters shown in screenshots were met by him after the series took place if the show was part of the MCU
I’m with the actual 94 series ending. It may not be the ending we got, but it’s the ending that I’m satisfied with.
