And I'm from India, here hasbro or these neither exist nor the rules
Still we play good 🤌
Iirc my dad said our rule was the "jackpot" started at 100 dollars, and chance and community chests contribute to the jackpot. It can either expand a game a bit or make it massively shorter depending on who gets that money.
I know its nothing, but i like to play with my own rules, even if the others i play with don’t know them
Womp womp, if you land on free parking you get the money in the middle
Tbh I alr knew that I’m that one person who reads the rules
I have always played it as nothing happens. The way I saw it is that you are heading around town but various properties and free parking is just that. You pull into it, park, maybe turn on a radio, just relax that turn.
they gave me free jackpot when i landed on free parking🤑🤑
My family used to play like it was nothing till we got bored of it and made it where u win the jackpot
Monopoly on Xbox 360 allows house rules to change whether or not free parking gives you one of 2 things:
1: nothing
2: tax jackpot collected from taxes paid by other players, $100 if no tax money was paid prior to landing on free parking.
Imagine not already knowing that smh... It literally takes one google search
I thought free parking is a safe zone when you land there like you decide if you want to move or stay there
“congratulations you landed on Free Parking! And you get: *NOTHING!*”
Every time we play monopoly we make it clear what rules we are playing. We mostly go by normal rules but rules like this in our opinion make the game funner. I wouldn’t say changing the rules are bad or keeping them are bad, it’s just about how you like to play and have the most fun
The only reason i know this because i play the monopoly game.
The free jackpot in the center makes it more fun
but at the cost of weakening the lower end properties and extending the length of the game.
In my family free parking just skips your next turn.
Makes sense because it’s just parking. There’s a place that you could be until it’s your turn again.
I think zack is trying to gaslight us into thinking we didnt knew it
so people just kinda forgot how boring the actual tile was XD
