  • Rappers are notoriously tough to interview. Come off too much like the police and there’s every chance that they’ll shut down and refuse to participate in the interview.
On the other hand, If a rapper says or does the wrong thing during an interview - i.e Drake infamously freestyling off his blackberry in 2009 - there’s every chance that this will be etched into their legacy forever.
In this video, we’re taking a closer look at some of the most awkward interviews in hip-hop history. Sometimes, the cause of the tension is obvious, with one party acting out. While in other cases, the line is a little blurrier, but we’ll leave that up to you to decide.

  • @ajtaylor8750

Tyler's interviews are great because he simply doesn't care what anyone thinks of him or his answers. He's endlessly entertaining.

  • @TheSnoozeFox

Nah the Yachty one wasn’t awkward it was funny as hell Joe went full old head and Yachty just laughed it off

I have to say the Chief Keef & Gambino interview recovered when they pulled out their money and bonded over the size of their stacks.

  • @deeznutz23

Snoop was 5 hours late and showed up dancing, I'd be mad too as the interviewer

Sway a real one for how he handled Kanye, instead of blowing it up he was tryna diffuse all tensions and try and speak real shit at the same time

The fd up part about Kodack interview was the fact they tried to make him look stupid, and he caught that really fast. He knew exactly what they were doing.

  • @Niqueguala415

Joe and that migo interview 😂😂😂😂 will be my favorite “who was left off bad and bougie”, Iwassntleftoffbadandbougie” 💀💀

The Snoop part was uncalled for. Being so late for an interview and talking like that to someone for simply asking.

ebro ironically suffers from the big bro mentality, always feels the need to school you on something even if its something hes bad at himself.

  • @genoweapon4800

Turns out sway had the answers

I know she's not a rapper, but Ebro's exchange with SZA is legendary - everytime he tried to start some sh*t, she shut him down, beautifully.

Snoop was 5 hours late plus showed up dancing. Cant blame interviewer for being upset
