Exactly what I was wondering. Taxes go to schools and roads. What do these guys do with their extortion money?
Thet take the funds received and combine it with the funds collected by the gang, such as drug money or money made in the chop shops for example. They then tak 40% and invest in a moderate risk mutual fund, 30% in in energy stocksand options, 10% in high risk, high reward investment options and the remaining 20% is filtered into the operational fund that is used for day to day operations such as bail, bribes, WiFi guns, bullets and coordinating fashion garments and accessories. All the things a modern day gang needs to compete with their rivals.

I think it’s more of a generational thing now . The generation today give 0 fucks about checking in. I’ve read J Prince book and do have respect for what he has done for Rap-A-Lot and The Geto Boys in that era. He had to move like a gangster against the DEA and other major labels. People need to keep that in mind with J Prince whether you like him or hate him. Outside of that I do think the checking in stuff was excessive, and I don’t respect his grown sons acting like spoiled brats that led to the death of Takeoff.
When you start making more money, you have to move differently. Takeoff shouldn't have been where he was doing what he was doing. When you play with the devil on his playground, bad things happen. Better choices in life will get you further. Takeoff's death is nobody's fault but his own.
