super helpful video 👍 i was very nervous about updating the bios because everywhere will tell you it’s a risky/ dangerous process. this video made it super simple. thanks
thank you so much for this guide, I don't have any idea what to do when it comes to BIOS stuff despite gaming on a pc for 10 + years. you came in so clutch
Thank you very much bro! liked and subbed. This guide really helped and fixed my pc as I was having some instability issues with some games due to 13th gen intel cpu support needed bios update.
Thanks, great help. For days, I've failed because I used an MSI BIOS update on my Corsair Vengeance; only when I realized Corsair has its own unique BIOS updates did I make progress! That said, I still hit a wall with my new 4 x sticks of 16 GB DDR5 7200 RAM sticks (replacing 2 x 16GB DDR5 4800); they simply won't allow the machine to boot even with BIOS updates and changes. Grrrrr.
Here’s a quick fix that worked for me to enter the bios when I kept getting a black screen. If you’re using a wireless keyboard, simply switch to a wired keyboard and spam the del key when restarting.
You sir are ficking amazing. If I could kiss you I would! I was so worried on doing this and you have been one of the best videos to show how to do it. Bless you man
I have the msi b650 gaming plus wifi and it says the bios is in January 2022. If i click on the latest one would this fully update it. @GarrettMiller-y6q
Hey I updated my bios for the msi pro b760-p wifi ddr4 and after the update I'm getting about 90/100 less fps in all my games I have a 4090 and a i7-14700f any help would be appreciated
Is it by chance a beta build? Regardless, if you havent already, I would revert back to the previous BIOS version you were on to see if the issue persists. If it wasnt happening before the update but you noticed it right afterwards, good chance reverting back could fix it. If you cant access file explorer, you'll need to take your USB to another device and download BIOS files from there. Also, if you were updating to begin with because of issues on your old BIOS, I would run command prompt as administrator (Win + R on keyboard, then type cmd.exe in the box and press enter) and enter the following one at a time: sfc /scannow (then hit enter, let the file scan complete to 100%) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth (then hit enter) Once those are done, reboot your pc and see if the issue persists. If all else fails, reinstall windows.
Incredibly helpful. When my 64 GB flashdrive wasn't detected by the M-Flash I almost had a heart attack.

Should i keep my bios on the beta version or better to update it? Also do you need to safely eject your usb when updating the bios?

Did you fix it?
Thank you!
After doing this, any clicks on the taskbar or inside of File Explorer stopped working... Has this happened to anyone else?

I couldn't click anything at all but just unplugging replugging my mouse fixed it
does the USB need to be 32gb
Yeah 32 GB or under
FAT32 format
You don't have to partition it to 32 gb. Just fat32
