    Pronounciation on the Lilienthal was pretty solid! Lilienthal means Valley of the Lily (as you might have guessed already)

      John, thank you! I have a hearing loss and I often mispronounce words, including in English, because what I hear isn't always what others say. Take care, Bill

    Those Tonda Metrographe's definitely offer amazing value. Really makes me consider saving up a bit more to buy one of those instead of buying a Nomos Minimatik..

    The terms surgical or marine grade steel usually just refers to 316L steel with high chromium and low nickel percentages.

      Hey John, as long as there are some good buys on the PFs...you'll hear about them from me. One of the few watches by a genuine watchmaker that's relatively affordable. Take care, Bill

    Still have my eye on the Tonda Bill. I’m hoping sometime late next year. I just picked up my Chronoswiss Balance Retrograde on bracelet. Fantastic watch.
    Kind Regards,
    Steve

      That Tonda is a honey of a watch, 1/4 Eye, as long as you can still get one at that price. Wow! That Chronoswiss sounds like a great find! Take care, Bill

    I picked up that exact metrograph for 5500 a few weeks ago from the watch outlet. Can’t believe they’re still available at that price point

      @@watchartsci absolutely love it Bill, the dial color and design make it look very dressy but of course it’s a sports watch, fit’s very well

    That PF is definitely on my list to buy, but I have a limited budget at the moment, so let's hope they stay underrated. Thanks Bill.

      Steven, in the previous "Pick 3 Watch Deals" I included one of the best deals ever for a high quality watch in solid gold. Some great deals are in precious metals, and they'll be included. Take care, Bill

    Dear Sir,
    Would you purchase a Patek Phillipe 5110 G with box and papers for $26000 USD or a Jaeger Lecoultre Duometre with Moonphase for $25000 or an Angelus U40 for $17750, thinking on the quality of the finishing and also the probability of maintaining its value on the future?

    • @watchartsci
      @watchartsci  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fernando, what I'd do is wait until 2023 and see what Voutilainen does with Urban Jürgensen, but of those you mention the JLC would attract me the most. Take care, Bill

    Nothing wrong with your pronounciation. You did it with your native tounge and that's the people you would like to adress.
    The last watch I would never pick. There is too much of a loss already.

    • @watchartsci
      @watchartsci  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Oliver. Correct pronunciation is more a matter of trying to be polite on my end, but with crummy hearing ... even in my natural language it can sound odd! Take care, Bill
