Lauren is a beauty of a singer and she fits 100% into the Band - in my opinion SHE is the spirit of the Band! Her very natural fine voice gives us something that has gone missing for quite a time in the music industry - she is a very natural jung girl and NOT a Melodyne manipulated pseudo singer like most of what we hear today in almost any styles. Wish the music industry had more such natural talents!

Her voice, their ability to synthesize their songs... they're a great combination of skill and balance of talent. What a great display. Also in love with the human touch of personal interest and semi-(maybe feigned) nervousness from the band. Fan of them, and all the friends I've introduced their music to agrees.

I truly, deeply believe that Chvrches is one of the greatest bands from the last decade, alongside Alt-J, Foster The People and PBS. Also I believe this is such an iconic performance, that last jawa noise is priceless.
What I am saying is why would you be talking about stage performance when they aren't performing for anyone? They're singing for a radio station. This is a video of them basically in a studio. There is no need for her to be entertaining, or bounce around the stage. This is a simple showcase of how good they sound live. You can speak in general but a general performance wouldn't be anything like this.
They're pretty clearly on a stage. Also hard to miss the little crowd in front of them. Would assume Chvrches all know those cameras are recording too - one could say they are performing for the viewer. I was talking about stage performance because I've watched a lot of Chvrches live videos, and I noticed that Lauren is a lot less nervous-looking now. She moves more. It was a simple observation and I really don't see why you think it deserved a petty internet argument.
Just appreciate it for what it is man. All music has value. Can't we just get over trying to be so cool that we think we know what should and should not be popular? Fuck.
