I've always played or listened to heavier stuff - for example, I liked almost all the bands who used downtuned and distorted baritone guitars and made some pretty heavy riffs with vocal harmonies spread all around. The only two bands (apart from 'Chvrches') that sometimes can be called my "guilty pleasures" are '21 Pilots' and 'Rest, Repose'. And here it is again - only the word "guilty" is the problem.
you shouldnt be calling those 'guilty pleasure' theres are many genres, and every one of them has a band that is hitting the exact vibe you like... be more open, stop calling music you like that way and you'll see there will be even more amazing music
