I agree. In the times we are living we have to pick a side. I have heard him a couple of times about his values including Christianity. I believe he is able to do this because he saw a need for stories that affect American people instead of just drama. I like the content change because it unites Americans. His content use to divide people, but it’s not like that anymore.

Ever watch Dr Robert Lustig? He's spoken about this for years. This is old news. He worked with children at St Judes and is a pediatric endocrinologist. He has been fighting the food industry for years about this and will explain exactly what sugar and all this other garbage does to the body. Watch some of his videos and interviews...it's life changing. This was written about in 1972 the book pure white and deadly about sugar. Again this guy is late to the party and is copying everything Dr Lustig has spoken about for years. Vicki

Yes a lot is not healthy but people know that already it's not a secret. And access to healthy food is also readily available so it's up to the individual. Of course corporate greed is always an issue but there's also 8 billion people and we can't stop breeding so how are food companies supposed to provide food to that many people without preservatives etc? And this guy keeps mentioning the Devil like there's some individual character that for some reason is to blame for all the world's problems. Sounds like a community scapegoat. Maybe that's why he's depicted wearing a goat mask.

About 35 yrs ago my husband was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. His Dr made us go to nutrition classes for 2 days for about 3 hrs each day. I came home and cleaned out my kitchen cabinets and fridge. The whole family ate what he did to support him. We all lost weight. A few yrs later my sisters husband was diagnosed. He was told just eat what you want and take your meds. I was shocked.

Maltodextrin is a food additive derived from corn. My son had a large container of it that he purchased to drink for added carbs to his diet as a powerlifter. When he didn’t need it anymore, he gave me the container and asked if I knew what I could do with it. I’m an experimenter with food so I decided to add it to a meatloaf. I take pride in everything that I cook so this meatloaf became the best I ever made, and I was a plant-based eater, not a vegan, I got hooked on the meat quickly. I wanted more and more of it. Then I tried Maltodextrin in another meat dish and the same thing happened, it was the best meal I ever made on the side of that meatloaf. And then I decided to look up maltodextrin. When I found out where it came from, I knew it was a food enhancer, and addictive. The same goes for dextrose and monosodium glutamate (msg). McDonald’s french fries contains one of the additives. There should only be three ingredients, potatoes, oil and salt but instead it contains I think 17 or 19 ingredients!

The disease management industry, AKA medical industry is complicit in this. My oldest sister literally killed herself with food. She had raging type 2 diabetes and the doctors were telling her to eat whatever she wanted, to just adjust her insulin to control her blood sugar. She was on SSI because she couldn't work and her food stamps were spent on nothing but regular soda, chips and other junk. She wouldn't listen to any of us trying to help her and tell her the truth because her doctors were telling her it was fine. I know this because I talked to them myself. Her daughter took care of her and is doing the exact same things, along with her son. She was on Medicaid and was in the emergency room at least once a month for something. She finally passed away a couple of years ago and was literally rotting inside, her poor body was totally destroyed. It was the saddest and most angering thing I have ever seen.

Many years ago, I enjoyed the "Western" and "American" diet/way of eating as much as any other American. Throughout my 20s, I ate predominantly a diet of meat (esp. red meat), dairy, some rice and beans...and plenty of 'processed foods' (packaged foods from the "middle aisles" of grocery stores), etc. I prided myself in being the ultimate "carnivore" and wanted to taste and sample every KIND of meat (from every type of animal) on earth in my lifetime...
I never imagined that my cravings would ever change. I had a grandma who before she passed, had a fridge full of health foods (all kinds of produce and nothing but produce) and I thought to myself: How can she eat this stuff? That's pathetic. I never imagined in a million years, that in the not too distant future that I would be eating a similar diet as she did in her advanced age...
Sometime in my early 30s, for no apparent reason other than that I feel I am much more objective, curious, open-minded and more 'advanced' than most other people...I became interested in nutrition. Our society unfortunately is full of nutrition "half truths" and "misinformation." But truly scientific and intelligent people, such as I, innately gravitate towards and recognize and discern solid and indisputable scientifically-sound nutritional facts.....being able to discern good information from 'misinformation.'
I have many books in my collection by Bruce Lee; and ironically one of his books introduced and aroused a latent curiosity in me concerning nutrition. My first scientifically sound introduction to nutrition was the book called "The China Study"...which I still feel and believe is one of the most original and groundbreaking and scientifically-irrefutable treatises on nutrition ever penned. Later on, happened to come across several books written by Joel Fuhrman (i.e., "Eat to Live," etc.) who I still believe is the best nutrition expert that I've ever come across.
I totally with the assertions of this video: Virtually all major and minor health issues that Westerners and Americans suffer from are a result of eating ALL the wrong kinds of foods.....and little or none of the RIGHT kinds of foods.
Somehow, the Western and American diet is easily the stupidest and worst way of eating in the history of mankind. Literally, pretty much everything that Americans love and enjoy eating is toxic and destroys health: Meat, dairy, processed foods (all forms of pastries, breads, doughnuts, snacks, etc...."middle aisles" of grocery store foods), oils, sugars, salts, dyes, corn oil, hydrogenated oils, sodas, etc. etc.
About anything and everything that Americans enjoy eating and staples of the American diet are toxic and uber-counterintuitive to good health: Hot dogs, pizza, hamburgers, macaroni and cheese, stroganoffs, baked potatoes and cheese, pancakes, sausages, bacon, waffles, doughnuts, pastries, cakes, pies....pretty much everything.
Like it or do...the "big man upstairs" (God) put ALL the health benefits of food in "plant foods" and pretty much ONLY plant foods. Really, plant foods are pretty much the only essentials, most everything that isn't natural or a "plant food" (including meat and dairy which are the two leading causes of most kinds of cancers) are toxic and dangerous to the human body. These are indisputable scientific facts.
In the following order, one should eat predominantly veggies, fruits, beans/lentils, nuts/seeds, whole grains. Whole grains only have a very small fraction of the micronutrient and phytochemical value of veggies; veggies are by far the most healthy of all plant foods. These are cold hard facts; but scientifically sound and not rebuttable.
All meat (including lean meat and fish) causes cancer; fatty and esp. red meat is a leading cause of heart disease, dimentia, alzheimers, and strokes, high blood pressure, etc...but all meat has the same capacity to cause cancer, not just "processed" meats. This has been proven in "The China Study."
I still veer much too often from a truly healthy diet and still eat too much of the wrong kinds of foods...but I have PREDOMINANTLY stuck to a healthy way of eating for many years now...
It is not coincidental that we have exceeding rates of diabesity, strokes, dimentia, heart disease, heart attacks, depression, and many other chronic diseases in our country that are mostly lacking in countries which do eat predominantly plant foods. It is a fact that our diet does cause pretty much all health issues of any kind that exist...

The amount of sugar contained in these drinks nowadays is just completely insane! Even drinks marketed as a "healthy choice" contain just an unecessary amount of sugar...

Grass fed beef, no seed oils. You can only grow food on third of the land and cows can take advantage of non agriculture land to take grass, upcycle that grass into highly nutriional foodfor humans unlike grain fed pork or chickens. Cows are carbon neutral as they dont add extra co2. Cows produce 25 percent of the fertilizer used on other crops, so they work synergistically with the agriculture system. Cows take up much less land per calorie than fruits or vegetables also having crops means the decimation of everything living withing those crops due to pesticide or machinery. most vegetables we eat nowadays were genetically modified to be profitable, not nutritious. To feed a single person eating vegetables needs over 2 acres of land per person to sustain whereas a meat eating diet would require fractions of that. Humans should eat seasonally and depending on your ancestry you should eat similarly as that what your genetics have been programmed to extract nutrients from. I don"t eat veggies out of season unless they are fermented or its something like a potato that has a long shelf life as my ancestry is more from nordic regions which much lower acces to fresh veg or fruits. Thanks to anyone who made it this far.

That's why ive been starting to home cook 2 years ago. All that restaurant food is full of sodium and additives that make the food taste delicious. Yes, my home cooking may taste bland compared to fast food, but it gives me a reality check on how food is really supposed to taste. Also its pretty sad that people won't buy non gmo foods because they get very little, people are so used to buying big bag of chips for $3.00 instead of a non gmo simple ingredient chips that are $5-6. I admit, I cant really afford All non gmo groceries, but I take this as a guide to choose whole foods and meats at the grocery store.

On the carnivore diet, been doing it for a week already. I’ve lost 9 pounds already. Doing a 60 days challenge than adding in fruit and than vegetables. Occasionally having beans, grains, legumes, nuts and seeds. Those foods are major problems. By cutting them out I already feel great. 👍 We all need to simplify our diets. You don’t need to eat everything! Kick the processed foods, fast foods, oils, and sugar and see the transformation unfold.
