Idk what she saw in this guy in the first place. The first few scenes really shows his toxic behaviour. And like Gordon said, its like as if Andy is in a deluded competition with him and the people around him ☠ Edit: However, I love the change that was made in his character devlopment and the fact that their restaurant is operational and successful to this day. Especially since in some other episodes there have been owners that have returned to their old horrible ways and being downright ungrateful for the change Gordon helped them achieve. Wishing all success to Andy, his wife and family, as well his business ❤🙏
It's insane that a world class chef comes to help his restaurant and he writes off every critique as slander and meanie words. Maybe trust the opinions of the person who is there to help
Can you imagine going through your regular dinner service and Gordon F***ing Ramsay runs in and asks for food “to-go” and how long it’ll take and then runs out? If I were the head chef, I’d be like “screw the rest of the restaurant! GORDON NEEDS HIS TUNA NOW!!!” 😂😂 24:50
It's so sad watching this guy. He clearly knows how to cook and he knows it but he also knows how much of a failure he is. He probably can make an awesome dinner for the family but that's not good enough for a restaurant. He is a good, knowledgeable cook who cannot reconcile with the fact his restaurant is failing.
The restaurant is still in business today, with 5 stars on Google reviews. The guy can cook, but obviously he had issues with running the business and kitchen before Gordon came along. Seems like he learned, now he can cook and run the business, and it's doing well.
Part of his problem I’m sure was related to the fact he refused to cook food how the customers requested it. Serving something rare when medium rare was asked for, something charred when well done was asked for. Only an AH burns a steak for well done. I’ve plenty of juicy well done steaks.
Hes soo proud of having WORKED in a michelin star restaurant that he wont listen to a chef that HAS michelin stars.. And his own restaurant is failing..
I'm glad the owner was able to change for good and keep it up! Kudos to him. God was he annoying as hell in the beginning. So glad Gordon could get through to him.
Who said money can't buy happiness.. Every episode of kitchen nightmare and hotel hell, these guys are so happy with new stuff and overhaul.. Irrespective of whether they genuinely give a crap or not..
As soon as I heard from Gordon, "The difference is, I care about my customers" I instantly recalled the clip from Hell's kitchen when a customer asked him for more Pumpkin and he said "I'll get you some more pumpkin, and ram it right up your arse. Would you like it whole or diced?"
This is actually one of the few success stories. It survived Corona, when many other KN success stories didn't and to this day has excellent reviews. I kind of assumed while watching this episode before I looked up the updates, that with a legit classically trained chef it had to have a shot at making it.
I’m an abuse survivor and I’ve had friends who I helped out of DV situations. Even setting aside Andy’s visible behaviors on camera, the way Elin acts is a textbook sign that he’s an abusive husband. The way she constantly talks him up and compliments him with that meek, shaky voice, the cautious look in her eyes when he starts getting angry… it’s heartbreaking. If Andy treats her that badly on camera, just imagine what happens behind closed doors.
Every single thing he turned into something about himself. Covert narc who takes everything as bullying and poor me all day long. So impossible to deal with.
it was easy to see what the problem was from 3 minutes and it continued until 30 minutes. Andy was so far up himself. refusing to accept the problem was the way he was acting. as well as the food was not what the people in the area wanted. I could not see why his wife stayed with him the way she was being treated
As a cook, its pretty common using a bell or a shout to get hands on the plate to get it to the table. It just looks unnecessarily cruel when it happens to be his wife as the only one taking food lol

Have you lived with her ? Nah cant know
She didn't blame her husband once. She was in a abusive relationship being pushed around by him because SHE LOVED HIM.
@@el29
Talking about what we’re seeing right now
@@CherryTheMenacedon't think she loves him. I mean look at this idiot 😂
Gordon's patience never fails to amaze me in every episode of kitchen nightmares. This man takes so much BS from wannabes like that guy !! I wouldnt be able to tolerate that behaviour.
The way he’s treating his wife?? 🚩🚩
Real we need the red flag guy🚩
Depression certainly manifests itself in many ways. Impressed Ramsay found the right buttons to press.
Idk what she saw in this guy in the first place. The first few scenes really shows his toxic behaviour. And like Gordon said, its like as if Andy is in a deluded competition with him and the people around him ☠
Edit: However, I love the change that was made in his character devlopment and the fact that their restaurant is operational and successful to this day. Especially since in some other episodes there have been owners that have returned to their old horrible ways and being downright ungrateful for the change Gordon helped them achieve. Wishing all success to Andy, his wife and family, as well his business ❤🙏
Andy needs a pan to the face
Narcissists love bomb you at the start
It's insane that a world class chef comes to help his restaurant and he writes off every critique as slander and meanie words. Maybe trust the opinions of the person who is there to help
You can obviously see how close minded the guy is.
4:32 literal smokehouse in Gordon's face
Andy: Gordon Ramsay just being an actor
She deserves BETTER!!!
I’ll treat her like a Queen!
That wife, might just be an amazing person as a partner.
28:00 the way gordon said the word "chef" it´s like he feels insulted that they share the same job
LMFAOOOOOOOOOO
Can you imagine going through your regular dinner service and Gordon F***ing Ramsay runs in and asks for food “to-go” and how long it’ll take and then runs out? If I were the head chef, I’d be like “screw the rest of the restaurant! GORDON NEEDS HIS TUNA NOW!!!” 😂😂 24:50
lol never saw Ramsay staying silent like this before XD
Chef Ramsey has more patience than I do 🤣 I would have just left after the first major interaction with that dude
Gordon is amazing, flat out.. his communication skills even if it‘s harsh, on point
He's truly simply direct. We're so used to passive aggression, anything else perceives harsh.
You definitely know that gordon and andy were british by watching them argue 😭
😂 I’m genuinely curious about this comment - why do you say that?
Uk men always argue 😂
@@effiasteedon-coleman7870 lol! 😂 I’m British and you’re not wrong 😝
@@michellew512 The fact that your average British is a prime example of a bad case of down syndrome. Hard to miss.
"part chef part dictator" 😭😭😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀
And how casual they said it as well😭🤚
16:07 " you're blatantly ignorant " " whatever , fuck you " ..." excuse me " haha comedy oh God. Funny.
Hes soo proud of having WORKED in a michelin star restaurant that he wont listen to a chef that HAS michelin stars..
And his own restaurant is failing..
this is probably the most insecure person i've ever seen in any media ever
Gordon: “Talk to me, Chef.”
Andy: “My name is Andy 😤”
That exchange is 100% gold 😂😂
Restaurant update- Le Bistro is still open and thriving!
New owner?
@@Anone_Anone no. The old one only
I'm glad the owner was able to change for good and keep it up! Kudos to him. God was he annoying as hell in the beginning. So glad Gordon could get through to him.
Good!
Miracles do still happen aparantly
when the heck did i started watching kitchen nightmares i dont even like cooking
I watch it when I'm tidying the house...its just the kick up the arse I need to clear out the fridge.
Who said money can't buy happiness.. Every episode of kitchen nightmare and hotel hell, these guys are so happy with new stuff and overhaul.. Irrespective of whether they genuinely give a crap or not..
can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that gordon ramsay enjoyed the food from the other restaurant?
He said that because it's in the script
How long do you think he took to come up with the name "La Bistro" it's so memorable.
Must be a one in a million name
Bistro is a gravy brand in the uk
@@meimeposter I know I'm from England 😊
@@meimeposter it’s Bisto 😅
I fucking love that you've misspelled it & proved your point. Bravo
Man whenever I see episodes like this with owners with attitudes and that are in denial, I am reminded that Gordon Ramsay is the most patient man.
its just stupid as all these restaurants are literally in debt and going down how are thesecowners so stupid
Gordon Ramsay is so gentle and calm, if I were there I would've started a war 😭😭😭😭
omg i literally cried after seeing andy literally delegating the task to his sous chef... amazing andy. hope this resto is still up!
As soon as I heard from Gordon,
"The difference is, I care about my customers"
I instantly recalled the clip from Hell's kitchen when a customer asked him for more Pumpkin and he said "I'll get you some more pumpkin, and ram it right up your arse. Would you like it whole or diced?"
The customer was rude af that's the difference 😂
The amount of times I was like "WHAT DID HE SAY😳😳😳😳" to GORDON RAMSEY?!
This is actually one of the few success stories. It survived Corona, when many other KN success stories didn't and to this day has excellent reviews. I kind of assumed while watching this episode before I looked up the updates, that with a legit classically trained chef it had to have a shot at making it.
Never wanted gordon to roast the heck out of someone until now
I know Andy hasn't changed when he says at 33:00 "I wanna know why they haven't been here before"
my exact same thought
Omg this guy struck gold with his wife. She seems like such a beautiful patient angel.
33:00 "I wanna know why they haven't been there before".. Same reason we use the flush every morning..
If Andy treats her that badly on camera, just imagine what happens behind closed doors.
dude is a textbook narcissist
That guys wife is a saint dealing with him, she's lovely, poor lassy.
2023 and the place is still open, that’s got to be a record!
If he changed as an IDIOT WHY NOT.
HIS WIFE DESERVES TO BE COMFORTABLE.....SHE IS SO NICE.....THE GUY IS THE PROBLEM.....
The gaslighting of her husband was fccking incredible.
I could not see why his wife stayed with him the way she was being treated
yall noticed how he literally summons his wife with a BELL?
As a cook, its pretty common using a bell or a shout to get hands on the plate to get it to the table. It just looks unnecessarily cruel when it happens to be his wife as the only one taking food lol
i love how gordon put him on a boat with the customers so he can’t leave 🤣🤣🤣
28:00 "don't throw it away" has to be Gordon's BEST line
Please tell me she has left him
