- AnimSchool Student Modeling & Rigging Showcase 2022 - A compilation of AnimSchool student 3D modeling and rigging work from the past two years. Our accredited 3D Character program has high standards of progress & our students really deliver! (ACCSC)
Each term, professional 3D modelers and riggers (Character TDs) from movie and game studios work with our students in live online classes, giving them a guided opportunity for improving their own work for a career in the Animation & Game industry.
Appealing and convincing characters are the heart of AnimSchool. Our 3D Character Program students learn how to make great models and character rigs in ZBrush and Autodesk Maya, using the most up-to-date practices. We teach our modeling and rigging students industry-ready skills to improve the quality of their own work.
AnimSchool's 3D Character Program is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). ACCSC is a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.

@@RomboutVersluijs No, many of the students do start from the very beginning. The complete course of study is two years. 11 weeks is just one of the terms.

@@AnimSchool but how many if these in the showcase is work done by that 1@ weeks course. I'm Abit doubting someone with zero knowledge of 3d can do that in 11 weeks
Two from Intro to Modeling are featured in the Showcase. The Character Program takes around 2 years to complete and the majority of the students featured in the showcase started in our intro classes. Our graduates currently enjoy a placement rate of 83% in the industry within 6 months of graduating from one of our Accredited Programs. (ACCSC)

4:02 kinda reminds me of Star Wars clone wars style. I like how it kinda has that plump Disney feel but has more realistic proportions.

Awesome!! My dream is to worrk, at pixar or disney, and I was trying for over a few months now to learn making these, but I havent gotten any better so I wanted to purchase a course, then I saw yours and I felt like this might be my actual chance to learn it! I am wondering, I am 15 years old, how old am I supposed to be for this school?
I wish that was a sticker you put on your skin. On it it says "Apply to learn" After one day the knowledge transfer from the sticker through the skin via the nerves then finally "I know kung fu!"

how long can we get to make this from zero ?
The whole program is almost 2 years but there are models from the first and second intro terms! The submarine - it's the first term and you have about 3 weeks to complete the model while learning maya. A lot of characters here are from intro to Zbrush course- it's the second term. But you have to work really hard, especially if you have no experience and it is all new for you, as it was for me. It was tough but absolutely worth it!

Sure, it's an international school. There were students from all over the world.
When are you guys gonna start teaching blender?
I don't think they will be teaching it. The goal is to teach students to become a modeler and animator and get a career in an animation studio. Every animation studio works with Maya as it's an industry standard. It's sad, but it makes sense. I want to apply in a studio and the always require to have you to uave knowledge with Maya. So even though I know blender but not on a Profesional manor, I think it's best that I learn Maya by the pros if I want to work with them.
Blender is an amazing program and it keeps getting better and better. There are currently no plans to teach blender at AnimSchool.
Actually if you know the industry standards and can create environment and characters , then it doesn't matter what soft you use in the future. If you need you can work in any package yourself, I see no problem there. The main thing is not the soft but knowledge of creating stuff which is clean and technically ready for rigg, texturing and animation.
