  • How to Stop Proteinuria in a Chronic Kidney Disease Patient ?
The kidneys are best known for making urine and proteinuria occurs when the kidneys allows proteins to appear in the urine and exit the body. Together the 2 kidneys receive a quarter of the blood that is pumped from the heart every minute which fuels the organ to remove waste products in the blood every day. When protein leaks from the blood into the urine, there is less protein in the blood available for our bodies to work normally. This is definitely a warning sign that something is wrong with the kidney’s.
Amongst people suffering from kidney failure , the 2 most common health conditions that associates with it are diabetes an high blood pressure.
There are usually 2 types of proteinuria :-
    1) Transient ( most common form of proteinuria)
    2) Persistent ( Occurs to people with underlying kidney disease)
Proteinuria at a low level usually causes no signs or symptoms. Some patients, however, experience edema (swelling) in the face, legs, or belly if they lose a lot of protein in their urine.
You can’t prevent proteinuria. However, you can control it. Many conditions that cause proteinuria are treatable with medications and lifestyle changes.
The treatment for proteinuria often consists of changes in your diet, blood pressure medication, limiting your salt intake, eating more fiber and quit smoking and drinking.

I' skinny, so I try to improve. I lift weights every 2-3 days. I take protein powder at least 5 days per week. My Proteinuria is 144mg/l in 24h (double the normal leve?l). Is that ok, considering my regimen? or is it too high regardless the fact that I take protein supplements, and I'm ruining my kidneys? should I quit protein powder?

@@ideiasinsolitas8110is it dangerous? Maybe my bp goes up when i do high intensity exercise (bjj) .. i do it like 3-4 times a week. Now im taking a break but i still have froth in my pee. I was taking losartan but i stopped. Now i consume flax seed and apple cider vinegar. I saw that after drinking applecider my foam/froth pee stopped. Maybe for 2 or 3 times peeing afterwards. Then it comes back again. Im doing like 2x or 3x a day drinking apple cider to try and stopped the pee but in betqeen there is always foam but less than usual. Also by eating less sodium salty foods i see my pee is less frothy. Also if i eat tomato based foods or milk pee starts to froth badly again.

@@mrtraveller2020 just for sharing, this is based on my research. But you have to see your doctor as well.
First thing to do is to make sure whether there is any protein leakage in your urine or not. Since the underlying cause is your high blood pressure, was very high, so you have to overcome this problem as well. Once you can maintain you BP then your next target is lowering protein leakage in your urine. Once you can lower the protein leakage in your urine then your GFR will increase as well.
Secondly, you can do your own research especially on plant-based diet to reverse kidney disease. A lot of resources you can find. My finding: A raw whole food plant based diet you can consider to apply. Your diet should be low protein diet.
Hopefully my sharing useful for you and I believe you can manage your physical.
