I have a titanium signature series 240gph on my 19 L5P duramax. It's my first fast product but I had been following you for years on social media and I swear by your products guys. Thanks for the bad ass pump. No complaints whatsoever from me.
yes a yellow filter would make me happy ! hahah i been using balwin and or luberfiner filters and no clue if they are better or worse .but they are available and reasonable priced .i do filter changes often perhaps too often and never a issue with any of my equipment .watching video now waiting for purolator truck to bring filters for my 446 backhoe .thought id use some time learning about water separators and how they work.
No yellow. I've considered CAT filters but still got a set of Baldwin just because the red matches accents in my wheels. The rest of the truck is white so fass filters match. My wife says that's better. I agree. White paint is universal and can go with any color vehicle
@@thebaycuddy Awesome, we have a link here for the system we'd suggest for your truck: fassride.com/shop/product/fuel-air-separation-systems/drop-in-series/drop-in-series-systems-for-l5p-duramax/fass-fuel-systems-drop-in-series-diesel-fuel-system-2017-2023-gm-difsl5p1001/
I just purchased a FASS 165 from you guys for a 2005 Cummins. I read a document somewhere that said to change the fuel filter and fuel/water separator every 50-100k miles but I'm not sure if that is still true. What are your thoughts?
Hey i recently aquired an LLY duramax. it has an older FASS setup on it. uses the older style filters and has a red anodized body. i cannot seem to get the right filter for this. any insight?
Thank you for reaching out! That sounds like an old 95 or 150 series, but we would need the serial number to verify. Whenever it's convenient please reach out to our service team at 636-433-5410. Our team will be able to pinpoint the filters you need, and get you taken care of.
On a lot of other systems, and even some of our older units that orientation would be correct. We changed the orientation to provide better overall filtration and protection for the engine.
CAT has been around way longer. Doesn't mean that because it's always been done a certain way that is not wrong. love my FASS. however, I have always used CAT filters on my truck prior to installing FASS and have been happy. Don't hate on grandpa.
Thank you for the support! CAT makes a fine product, no doubt about it. That said, all of our testing has shown their filters to be the runner-up in terms of filtration effectiveness. Still a solid product!
From personal experience, I’m on my second Cummins and bought another fass 165gph system, i couldn’t be happier.
We appreciate that, thank you!

First and I have had really good success with the fass filters and that’s what I have stocked up for my trucks!
We're happy to hear that, thank you very much!
Personally I think cat makes the best filters. My personal opinion. You make a good product though
We appreciate that, thank you!
I haven’t had any issues with my CAT filters on my 165 FASS
I love my fass filters. Just don’t like that I can’t drain the water out like on other filters.
👊👊
You can’t drain something that isn’t there. They made a video about this.. The water gets trapped in the filter not at the bottom..
Instal a liquid filled guage so you can keep eye on it
You had me at “Biden inflation prices”!! I’m going to check these guys for filters for my RV!
Sounds like a plan, let us know if you have any questions!
Lol ya we have trudumb inflation here in Canada 🇨🇦
🤷♂️ my filter is always covered in dust and mud. It doesn’t really matter to me what color it is
🤘🤘
Can you do a demonstration on the cat filters against the fass filters like you did on the airdog filters.
👊👊
Love fast best system out there had mine for 9 years on my cummins never a issue
We appreciate all the support!

I think the white fass filters look far superior than those ugly yellow ones 😂
👊👊
Let me ask how do I know how much gph I need?? I see a lot of different types
Great question, and we typically go off how much power the truck is making. What is the year, make, model, and do you have any mods done to the truck?
@ no mods yet, stock 19 Silverado 2500

We appreciate you reaching out to us about this. For our filters typically we suggest changing them every 20k-25k miles or 1yr whichever comes first.
@@FASSFuelSystems Thank you for the fast response!
@@metalli445 You are very welcome!
I have an airdog and wish I had a fass just to let yall know who are looking to buy

The Bidenomics bit helped me to make up my mind. I'm going with FASS!
We appreciate that!
Does parker make your filters?
Great question! We actually designed our filters in-house, and work with a confidential manufacturer to build them to our specs.

No you see the problem with FASS vs. CAT. Cat is easy to replace and ain't going anywhere.
I thought the water separator went on the right of the pump I see you guys have it on the left

FASS….#1
Thank you!
You had me at Biden inflation prices
🤘🤘🤘
Yes paint them close to cat yellow
hell no. keep them white! matches my truck with a clean look.
Appreciate that!
