  • Josh shows Steve Darnell from Welderup how the FASS Fuel System, Extreme Water Separator outperforms the competition! We take heavily contaminated diesel fuel and remove 99.96% of the water! This prevents water from entering your fuel injection system which can cause damage or even injection system failure! To see how well our Extreme Water Separator works, check out this video below!!

    A pig is used to clean oil pipelines. When refineries distribute fuels to tank farms there is no pig used.
    Contaminated fuels are pumped into slop tanks that gets hauled back to the refineries.
    Fuels at tank farms are continually tested after transfer to check quality

      a pump is definatly not a pump. i think the test is rigged to demonstrate "fass filters better than everything" and hollowed out air dog filters............ you're supposed to drain a fuel water seperator once a week or sooner generally. so with a FASS you replace a filters once a week? not to mention that
      they were indeed using the FASS and Airdog Pumps even if they used the air dog without filters or rigged filters.... you can thee the Airiation (the amount of air pumped into the fuel) on the FASS product........ its far far worse to have bursts of air pumped straight into your fuel lines than it is to have a little water. lets not forget FASS quality control is horrible. they have good customer service though. but Air Dog has Extremly good customer service. and Really high quality control......... i've had an Air dog lift pump on my truck since 2008. had 0 issues from it. still delivers as much fuel pressure as advertised. 230k miles later

It’s only rated for transfer tanks with a tendency to clog up and blow fuses (on our trucks) and fry the pump motor. Good call, I’ll go with the one on the right aaand another retailer! Good try on the product push though. FYI, Fass purchased a stake in Alligator diesel, so I’ll stay away from those guys too! ✌🏼

    What about HydroDiesel
    it is water and diesel with an additive that keeps the mix emulsified and people are reporting more power , cleaner engines. longer lasting engines , better fuel economy, better price of course since you are basically watering down your diesel. It looks almost like milk with a white color to it and doesnt require any modification to your existing engine. I saw a channel on here do a side by side comparison and I was very impressed with the hydrodiesels prefromance.

You’re just sucking all that in and IDGAF how good your filter is, particles will get thru. Best bet is to leave that crap on the bottom and you should never go below a 1/4 tank anyway. a early style HFCM with a fuel heater on the 6.0 powerstroke is more reliable than a FASS product. to name a few things it does better. it lasts longer it seperates air out of the fuel. it warms the fuel. it performs "fuel polishing" of the fuel it filters it sends some back to the tank. oh and its service able and has a built in water in fuel sensor.

    People listening to him have absolutely no idea what he was talking about when he said pig pushing fuel threw the line hahahaha.
    Also the air dog isn’t set up properly there should be a return line that returns fuel water and air back to the tank to be cleaned again and only pure fuel should go the the cp3

      @@kevinlastair9808 that’s in a pipe line there is a pig separating each type of fuel being pushed but in a fuel pump from a tank there is no “pig”

    • @kevinlastair9808
      @kevinlastair9808 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Justthemow for what’s it worth, what I got from that his statement……is that when pigging you get trash, (called the envelope) and it can make its way into holding tank.
      “Separating fluids” would be like batching, for chemical treatment like a corrosion inhibitor or Boicide for killing bugs.
      But yes, his comment prolly didn’t makes since to 99% of the listeners.
