    I love your videos so much! They helped me out a lot at the beginning phases of my breastfeeding journey. I wish I had watched this video when I was going through it, but now I know! ^_^ baby is now 13 months old. Thank you so much for doing what you're doing! I will definitely be refreshing my knowledge when baby #2 comes! I have also recommended you to a family member who is having their first and is thinking about mixing breastfeeding and formula. Love your content! You're amazing!

      Awww thanks! 🥰. My goal is to help mommies but my heart’s dream is to have those mommies be able to help other mommies around them for future generations.
      Did she see my video on both breastfeeding and formula feeding?

    My baby is 6 weeks running and I am producing 2 and 2 half ozs when I pump .sometimes she is not full when I breast feed her .does that mean I have low supply .

    • @marycahillclc
      @marycahillclc  ปีที่แล้ว

      Is that pumping, right after nursing or in-place of a feeding?
      What’s happening that shows you that she’s not full?
      Is she seeming not full all day or more at the end of the day?

    Hello. This is baby 3 for me but my children are 21 and 13 so it’s been a while. I wish my milk would hurry up. 😊

      @@crystalmazyck0804 How old is baby? Our first milk (colostrum) is usually just what baby needs. If baby needs a supplement, it’s best if baby can latch on the breasts before and after any bottle feedings.
      There are times that baby needs just formula for a time. If so, be sure to pump, every time baby gets a bottle. Reach out to your local lactation counselor too if possible.
      You did spread your children out a bit but that sounds great! Older siblings probably enjoy the new baby❤️

    Hello, I'm a new mom. My baby is only 15 days old. She poops once every 1 or 2 days. But she usually poops a good amount and the color always changes from greenish to mustard yellow.
    Please let me know of the frequency of her pooping is normal. Thank you.

    • @marycahillclc
      @marycahillclc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the first few weeks, baby should be pooping 3 or 4 times a day. Newborn poop, can be as small as a US quarter.
      Are you seeing some small poops each day?
      How many wet diapers is baby having every 24 hours?
      Are you breastfeeding at least 8 times a day?
      Is baby hard to keep awake for feeding?
      Is baby Jaundice (yellow skin or eyes)?
      *After about 6 weeks, some babies who are exclusively breastfeeding, may skip many days without pooping. As long as they are feeling well, that usually fine.

    I had my baby at 29 weeks I’ve been pumping for two weeks and am only producing a little bit, I need help. I’m pumping every three hours and still not having success any advice? I’m eating lactation cookies and taking lactation gummies as well as massaging and taking hot showers. Thanks in advance!

    • @marycahillclc
      @marycahillclc  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Don’t bother with lactation cookies or gummies (unless they’re just yummy and you don’t mind paying that high price for them as treats). Pumping regularly with breast massage will be best.
      Were you able to start pumping the first day postpartum or were you a little late at getting started?
      Did you feel like your breasts were full/engorged feeling last week?
      How much milk are you seeing at each session?
      How was pregnancy and delivery? I imagine there was a few struggles since you delivered so early.
      Did you have heavy cramping and bleeding?
      Was there any mention of retained placenta?
      Did you have gestational diabetes?
      Do you have thyroid disease?
      Did you have PCOS before getting pregnant?

    • @marycahillclc
      @marycahillclc  ปีที่แล้ว

      Fenugreek can actually lower milk supply for some moms and it definitely won’t help unless you are latching and or pumping (with breast massage) on a consistent basis.
