    I've got a 2012 4x4 that sees about 80% street use. I've got Bilstein 5100's on there now, which are really nice, but good lord they're stiff. I sadly don't have a King or Fox budget, so these may be in my future! Thanks for the video!

      Rough country N3 struts will lift you 2” give you a more level look and ride a heck of a lot nicer I don’t have them on I have an older design with adjustable settings. I just have it set to softest. Little body roll but not enough to cause me alarm.

    Great looking truck. I have a 2019 TRD Pro, all stock, with the exception of the Go Rino running boards. Getting ready to put those same tires on it, but I'm going with 275/75/18's. Love the Fox suspension.

    I don't think you need to do any trimming with the 3.5" lift kit. I put 33s on mine and there is no rubbing.

    Did you have any issue with the passenger reservoir? Mine feels like there’s something in the way and I can’t mount it properly. Did you have to cut your fender liner?

    • @jmltube41

    That thing begs for 285 65 r20s

  • @texanerection492
    @texanerection492 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I’m thinking about running this exact suspension and tire setup. The only difference would be tire size. How close are you to hitting the Body Mount? I have stock 285/55/20 (TSS package), and I wanna see if I could fit 285/65/20… Same width but different height. I’d need to run a small wheel spacer to clear the UCA. Any insight?

    • @jmltube41
      @jmltube41  ปีที่แล้ว

      Any more height and or spacer will rub plastic and require trimming. Don’t think you’ll need a BMC at all, but definitely will be rubbing plastic for sure. It’s a sweet set up, you’ll love it!

    • @texanerection492
      @texanerection492 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jmltube41 alright, thanks man. I would probably just do a front bumper spacer up front. The back of my wheel well isn’t like yours- it’s kinda weird. I’ll have to have someone turn the wheel at different articulation heights to see how much room I really have back there. I doubt I’ll run the coilovers in the rear- could I just run normal RC shocks? Or even stock? I’d just be doing a 1 inch shackle.

    • @nolanchance1
      @nolanchance1 ปีที่แล้ว

      Check the tire weights out. Massive difference going from the 275to 285 in the recon grappler as it bumps you up to an E load. That’s why I’m leaning towards the 275. Just a heads up dependent upon your intended use.

    • @jmltube41
      @jmltube41  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      100% The ride is amazing and rightfully so since it is a brand new suspension system. The adjustability option puts it over the top in my opinion. Rivals anything Toyota is putting on their stock trucks from the factory, no matter the trim level.

      Thanks. I dropped about 2-3mpg depending on speed. City was not as noticeable, still shitty, but interstate 75+ it was noticeable. 13.8-15.8mpg at best with no load and 2 hour drive.
