ive the life of an aspiring influential publisher in New York City during the 1930s.
Define your editorial line and search the globe for the newsworthy stories of the decade.
The Prohibition, the Great Depression, or a lost cat… Not all articles are deserving of a Pulitzer…
But watch out! The mafia, mayor, and other factions will be more than happy to use your influence in New York City to print their own “truth”.
To get unique rewards, you might have to cover the topics they want!
Bend to their will and compromise the freedom of the press or print the truth, whatever the cost!

In News Tower, you will follow some of the key moments of the 1930s, but it will be up to you whether to cover and even influence them.

On comfort after two of the same item in a room you start hitting diminishing returns. Walls with doors are extremely useful.
When it comes to bathrooms one per floor with a sink and then a food station on the same floor also will eliminate a lot of unnecessary travel.
Also you can manually drag the paper to the printer to refill it. It's a pain, but the devs are aware.

Ooo Didn't think of putting a bathroom on every floor, I'll have to try that next remodel or next game. I haven't found the diminishing returns as an issue yet. Just pile everything in as much as possible.

@@chimmy_jim it saves on people's travel time quite a bit and with a sink, tiles, and a vent makes the bathroom a neutral area. As for the diminishing returns objects have a greater impact in a room then if just an open floor. A cup of water will fill a glass but barely be noticeable in a pool.
I do a floor for my production (usually first floor) to start and move it to second after security becomes a thing. Then I do rooms for each type of news story spread out as reporters travel is only important delivering stories to production. Then I do a room for my telegraphers typically just below my printing setup.
And finally consign yourself to dragging paper and coal as your resupply desk can never keep up. He can handle food and the bathrooms but the printer is another story.

On the bathrooms, it seems to require a sink next to every toilet, so you can do TSTTST or at least that's how I did it. Though as the other commentor mentioned, having one on every floor would *really* help travel times. I've never been able to get the printer to work on different floors. How did you get that box? It's always in the red for me. On the workflow, they do physically walk items between the different desks so travel time becomes a huge factor as everything expands. The paper counter counts everything, the telegraph, illustrators, toilets, etc all use paper and add to the counter. It's misleading IMO. I've started buying paper after every print, I don't like that aspect of the game. My playthrough kinda hit the limit of the game for now, just repeating districts and getting horrible story options that don't progress any goals. Feels like I'm doing something wrong but I haven't a clue what to do differently. Really enjoying the series, thanks!
