Game: "You can't build here -- You can't build here -- You can't build here -- You can't build here"
KoS: "Can't something... I can't quite tell what she's saying"
*1 minute later without changing anything*
KoS: "The voices, omg, they are way loud"
🤣
I think said "low", since I have my headset volume very veyr low.
Admittedly I'm just assuming here, but just to point out for anyone interested in playing the game also. If you run into a similar challenging situation in your own playthrough that is slowing you down, yes....yes you could personally choose to just move the electric pole rather than wait all those days for underground belts. 😉
I'm planning for the future...
@@KatherineOfSky Just some light-hearted teasing. Looking forward to see how this goes, game looks to be fun. Hoping it ends up as deep and mod friendly as Factorio.
@@camstegames8437 yeah that would be super cool!
This is so good to watch, looking forward to the series!
Thanks! So glad you are enjoying it!
KathrineofSky out of context “Omg the voices, the voices are way to loud” 6:53
This game looks surprisingly cool. Looking forward to this new series and getting my hands on it myself.
I truely hope this game will work on the steam deck as that way i could play this so much more than my laptop
This looks like it will be fun
This gives me “moon base” vibes from the early 90’s. I wish I could play that game today it was so challenging.
Ps. Holy Fuzzy Cats I love your content
Thank you! Enjoy! ☺
How have you released 6 videos in the last twelve hours?!?
Great work you always find great games
Thanks! Just working really hard!
Cant wait to play this, comes out near my bday lol😂
feels like Captain of Industry,
but looks way better.
To me it's quite different. I really couldn't get into CoI, had no addictive factor for me
@@KatherineOfSky same actually. after only 16h I just cant get myself to play it.
Looks really interesting. Queestion tho how big is the map you can play on?
The underground is at least 1k by 1k, I'm a beta tester and I've never managed to dig all the way out.
i will LOVE this series !!, still have to wait till the 15e, is there a pre-release or ?
Influencers got an early key.
Looks like the 3 science categories should each have the own waiting list.
Like in „Riftbreaker” for example.
For a "chill out and build stuff" game, there sure seems to be a lot of interruptions with NPCs yelling at you to do something. Like calm down, I'm building here. Sheesh!
hahaha
@@KatherineOfSky 👍
Might be late, but when ur wasting science points it does say on the top left side and will have an ! Mark on wasting science on icon top right bar
Yep, sure does.
ah shit... goodbye summer im going dark
so basically they revamped the game planetbase
Uuh, I finally got a reason to come back to your channel 😁 hello agaih! Cat's doing fine?
Welcome back! Yeah, the cats are happy and merrily catting along.
making me wonder if theres a new demo available lmao
We gonna launch Steam sales for Early Access on 15th of July, so yall can try the full version
game looks a little similar to Per Aspera
You turned the voice to 0, is that why your not receiving notifications?
No. Notifications are in the upper left corner of the screen. They are text.
the notification's popped up every time lol she just never saw them. I kept yelling at the screen saying you're wasting points :)
@@sirbum69 Yeah, Its very possible that I miss them. The game demands a lot of fcous and attention
KOS: The voices are way too loud.
KOS: Why I don't hear any science notifications?
I don't care about hearing them. i watch for the visual. I kinda hate aural notifications.
Pretty sure you would love Captain of Industry too.
Ive played it, but cant get into it
if only can slap these damn robots to work faster. is how we do in russian space station
haha
Perhaps an unpopular opinion but while i do enjoy preview videos on upcoming games, i find it frustrating when I cannot actually get the game myself as it's not available until the 15th. I'm glad you were able to get early access but by the time the game actually releases i've forgotton about it and have moved on. Can these videos come out the day before or even the day of release?
No bash on you KoS you do great videos...
If the series goes on long enough, there will be videos coming out on the 25th. Alternatively, just watch these on the 15th.
My brother in Christ, there are people other than you. Marketing a game is extremely important, and having TH-camrs / streamers being able to help show the game off to their audiences can potentially make a big impact on if a game sinks or swims upon launch.
Let’s also remember games are ALWAYS being released unfinished. most of the time when playing a day one release, you will be left super frustrated and disappointed. I find it can take a full year after release for a game to become enjoyable.
How about.... we just let her do videos she wants to do on video games she wants?
simply do not watch the video
Most Steam reviews mentions how horrendously buggy this game is. Is that true? From what i've seen i think i'd like the gameplay.
There are bugs, but the devs are constantly releasing patches to fix them as well as improve the game. I do recommend it, and if you watch my series, you'll see me pointing out bugs, etc. I recommend you watch my newer series, the one with Exclusive in the title
@@KatherineOfSky Thanks! New The Crust series? Will check it out. I love automatization/optimization/factory games like Factorio, DSP, Satisfactory etc... so i think this will be right there, in the zone.
The crust, how to buy this game before release?
Awful that yt gets this game earlier than “regular” gamers.
I never once found the mining extractor to be confusing.
Good for you
My God! Can we just stop with the power lines and electric pillars or whatever! Even the terrible City Skylines 2 got rid of the damn things.
So you prefer things without power? A city builder is quite different than a factory game.
@KatherineOfSky Power lines are implied to run underground. Even factorio has mods that remove the need for these inconvenient things for a better overall design. Could you imagine having to physically connect every house and building to the power grid in Cities Skylines? What a nightmare.
It's a completely different genre of game. It's not the same at all. There are times when you want to disconnect buildings in factory games. In a city, you would never do that. In Factorio... why would you remove a critical tool????
@KatherineOfSky A diferet genre, yes, and yet they removed them from the game...for a reason. In Factorio, you can just presume the power cables run underground, and that's it. You still have to generate power as usual, but you don't have those inconvenient electronic poles everywhere.
@@Empress_Theresa I guess youve never played Factorio. Power poles and conencting them effeectivel is incredibly important. If you have a power death spiral, you want to quickly remove key points them to reduce load on the electrical system, especially when being attacked. I would NEVER use a mod like that, Its literally cutting off a vital tool from the game. Terrible idea. THey arent "inconvenient", they are a key part of the game.
Looks boring.
