Those salaries at the very start shocked me. $25/day in 1930 would be equivalent to almost $460/day now, and $50/day would be $918/day! Salaries of a few dollars a week were common back then.

We started out realistic but it made it harder understanmd/read for players. 0,2 cent paper prices and such. once we uped that the rest had to come along. still bit said about it.
But i guess playabilty before realism in this case.
