Hey Myke great video thanks for all the work you put in and free content! I've been using glexo on hail but with smaller plastic tabs and I think that smaller tabs would have served you better on those dents. Also the glexo is an amazing pair with blending. Either pop the dent up close and blend it out or get more aggressive with blending and if it ends up a little bit too low pop it up and blend it again. The best part is you're not over pulling or pulling sharp pinches and makes fixing rails a lot better! I have my glexo on a small round hawg tab I believe that also took some time to bond. With smaller tabs it helps to have more glue than normal, mound it up a little bit with your fingers and then use the weight of slide hammer to smoosh into panel
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I've been playing with glue tabs for a week now. I've got a lot to learn. I mean a lot. You know though. It's just a hobby, I'm retired and have my dad's old s10 blazer with a lot of hail damage to practice on. I'm very cautious with tapping down. Today I went and over did it on a couple taps. That's how I learn it seems...
Hey thanks that's just flat ass awesome Mike great video love it. If you are using this glue and keep it clean like putting it in bag or something that would save the crap out of money. This kit comes complete
Gracias por el video, tengo un kit basico de cola fria pero no lo he estrenado todavia, viendo los resultados tan buenos voy a utilizarlo en el proximo trabajo.
I answered that question.. also this was my first take on this glue using this way. It does give a huge head start and doesn’t over pull like normal hot glue does. So if you already have experience with cold glue already, it’s obvious this will be very helpful. Thanks for watching Lukas. 😉
The Light you use allowed me to watch the metal move when you tapped the dent after pulling.
Excellent production. Thanks for sharing you Magic Sir.
Use the wipes on the Tab also before placing the Glue on it

Thanks a lot for the suggestion Garret. I’ll give it a go. I’ll do a follow up on that too. 👊

That's pretty dang impressive! Great demonstration as always too Myke!

! Muchas gracias por sus videos ! ! Es usted el mejor ! Agradecido desde Mexico.
forever the best, Myke…..
I wonder if using the towel cleaner on the metal tip would help with glue not coming of the tip?
Great review Myke! Those new tips are beautiful! I was amazed at how well that glue pulled those hail style dents.
Yes thanks I was too! 👊
I've noticed the harder metal on the panel like a beam or pillar the better cold glue pulls😊

Hey Mike were Ican get the sledgehammer the green one which weighs
Great demonstration indeed 👍 x 100000
what type of slide hammer are you using
Can you keep reusing the wipes like the glue? Do you store in zip lock bag or something?

Glexo makes it look all fancy, almost like looking at a set of high-dollar cuff links or something in that category.
It doesn’t matter much if it works. 😉
@@denttime
It will work pretty good while looking pretty I suppose. Everyone will be awe stuck by the craftsmanship and beauty of these gems.
Yell I think your right good job great video
The Glexo cold glue is the shit i use it everyday makes my job easier!!
Like the look of that tap down hammer anybody have a link. Thanks
Hey i didnt see the product in the link you posted
Like others said, use the wipe-prep on the tab for better adhesion. Probably is the answer for glue coming off tab.
What is wipe prep? degreasing?
If you wrap it around the tab better it will stay on there it will never leave the tab
Wow great view on video. Did you use a phone for the video? Thank you
Sometimes I do. It’s not the camera that matters.. it’s the content 😉
Awesome video Mike!!!
🙏 thanks for watching.
Looks just about perfect!
whats the most technical best advice you can give on cold pulling?
will it work on my motorhome? I have aluminum panels with hail damage. Please advise
How do you store the glue to keep it fresh, debris free once it’s being used? Great demo!
On the plastic clear paper as shown.
Hey mate,
very well done. Loved the review. Been following you for a while now.
Could you send me a link for the Hammer you use in this video, please?
I would buy the cold glue
Anyone knows the basis composiyion of a cold glue, what it is made from?
Can you prep puller head also
How much can I use per piece of cold glue? Is it semi-permanent?
Will the gelxo pull paint
What's the name of that first slide hammer you used with the dual weights? I wouldn't mind having one in my mobile arsenal!
BandD slide hammer. BandDtools.com
Thank you, for the explanations, and the video.
🙏👍
Maybe try wiping the tabs with the wipe before applying the glue
But I have no clue haha just an idea.
try using the prep wipe on the tab, might make it stick a bit better.
👊🙏
How noticeable would the dents be if a person did this in the driveway just to make the dents not appear as bad?
Probably not as good as it would be in shop with proper lighting. A tech can get away with much more flaws in broad daylight than in a garaged light.
I'd try scotching the face of the tab surely if it's a little rougher it would adhere better.
Anyone else think that reading the directions on the wipes might suggest not wiping the residue off after prep?
Can we use it like normal door dings.
I see vince heat the coldglue by heat gun
I don’t recommend that. That’ll kill the life of the cold glue.
And yes you can use with normal door songs as long as it’s not too deep.
will i be able to get this kit with slide hammer on amazon?
If you wait fir 10 seconds before pulling you will give the chance to the glue to settle and bond on dent
مرحبا انا من الجزائر وأريد اعرف كيف تصنع cold glue
Hi😊
👋
Great video 🙌🙌 Just wanted you correct you on Tom Brady comment he has 6 💍💍💍💍💍💍 😂😂
😂 I knew you might Scatto! 👊🤣
Cheated for 3 so he got it right! 3rings!
cold glue for big soft dent ok, for the others hot glue is more accurate and fast that i thougt.
$300 for the hail kit and $70 for the additional glue? Ouch. Must be an American company with prices like that.
Prep the tab also
Que buenas herramientas.
Put your board little bit further , you can not see no details, yes its pulling oke, but the quastion is if it pulling also the center of the dent...
I answered that question.. also this was my first take on this glue using this way. It does give a huge head start and doesn’t over pull like normal hot glue does. So if you already have experience with cold glue already, it’s obvious this will be very helpful. Thanks for watching Lukas. 😉
So you think it’s super important to keep cleaning the surface of the car to get a good bond yet you don’t clean the surface of the tool.
Not needed. 😉
file grid on the tab
Woww👍
you can get cold glue kits from china now for $28.
Fast forward to 17 minutes. You're welcome.
As I mentioned before. Only the DIYers are impatient and don’t care for the details. Thanks for watching.
Too much talking little action. You should have been a radio host.
You want action and no talk.. go to TiKTok.
😍😍😍😍😍
3:13 😂😂😂
No way that kit is worth $330, I'd drop the putty on the ground in 5 minues.
Nice ring 😅🤣
very long ad
The glue will stay on the tab if you wrap it around better
Holy s*** is that jewelry or PDR 😂
