Did my first attempt at this today on my SUV, about 6 door dents, took me about 7 hres but the result is satisfactory and can't wait to see the result under day light tomorrow. 🤞. Thanks for this super interesting demonstration.
Super nice video Myke! I'm having very good luck with the reaper tabs too. They stretch when I get a really hard pull but they do the trick! I'd rather stretch a tab than fuss forever with a stubborn pit.
Good job, I wondered if you could show, how the technician could decide the right angle when installing the LED light? Moreover, do all LED lights give the same showing or is there a different type of it? how could I select the best one among them, If I would like to buy it?
Clean the surface with alcohol and let the glue dry for a few minutes. I’m just learning myself but I’ve figured that out so far. Also, put the glue on the tab and the dent!
My uncle from north Idaho (DENT HUNTER- Rob Weaver ) completed dent wizard training and is done with his no compete contract and is now chasing hail all the way from Colorado to Idaho. I followed behind him for a year watching every move he makes while he marine corps style explained everything. Finally at 30 years old I’m hooked and want to fully get into it. My only problem is there is no school near me. Closet one is over 3 hours away. With twin girls, wife, and bills a move just isn’t in the picture. What else could I do to get more advanced and become a “technician”? I’m in Northern California
Sign up for DentTrainer.com and when you’re fully committed get some personal PDR training. If you’re serious you’ll find a way to get good training even if it’s far. Otherwise you find an excuse. PDR is hard to lear but it’s worth it if you’re the type who is passionate about it.
I need help desperately...I've tried and tried and I just can't get the tabs to stick.. I've done everything exactly the way your showed in video's but the first slight pull and it pops off
How much would it normally cost for someone to do just one of those dents on a car door? Is there a specific glue you would use on a thinner paint car like a subaru WRX?
tried to glue pull some dents, pretty successful but not quite there, Tequila glue and reaper tabs small dents and pulled 6-8 times and still not all the way. Hood temp is 70 degrees, I am outside and can't get them all out, about 20. Looks way better but only about 80-90% good.
Scares me doing this because I once pulled the paint off the dent, so it went from a quarter size all the way up to a 3" disaster, no joke... I have a Challenger also and knock on wood I have no dents yet but the day I do, you know damn well I'll be pissed. I have the amazon puller and tabs of what your using.
Quindi il martelletto lo uso quando il bollo esce troppo, colpisco seguendo le linee fino a raddrizzarle? Il martello si usa solo per sporgenza quando ho tirato trnppo il bollo?
Hi! in order to take the course, don't you need the tools first. Please let me know how much the tools cost so i can't buy it later on near future please, including the light system. Thanks in advance.
Actually, you’ll want to watch the course first because that’s what it’s about initially is about purchasing tools and how to use them. The most common problem people do when they first try to learn PDR. Is they buy tools that they don’t know how to use or understand. On Denttrainer.com.you’ll see the foundation from step by step. Start with the main course called Ground Zero Pdr Training. You won’t regret it, and you’ll save lots of money, including tool discounts for the tools that I mentioned. Good luck. Thank you.
Decent video I like how you went into some detail about the tabs but if you have any type of expensive car the owner will lose his mind if you stick your alcohol magnet on the paint. Just fyi. Coo video tho.
Good work but i think it would save u some time if u didn’t pull that hard with the puller, i did the Same thing and i found quickly out that it made the process longer, what i did was massaging the rigger slowly until i saw it was far enough out to massage it back to its place
So, in the second 1/2 of your suggestion you recommend doing exactly what you recommend not to doing in the first 1/2. Pull it “far enough OUT to massage it back to its place”.

All this is teaching me is that you need expensive tools to do it well. There's zero skill involved here. Your results are only as good as how much you shell out for tools.

Sure. You should also check out my tutorial website denttrainer.com thanks again
How did it come out?
How long did you let the glue/tab set before you pulled it off? I've a kit now, just looking for advice. Thank you for your reply.

Go to the junk yard, buy a junk hood and start practicing.
@@VanishingNomad exactly what he said. Practice makes perfect.
Also from Nor Cal, sucks how every class is more down south! Turning 30 in a couple month
I'm fairly certain that KECO does on site training.

Thanks but you should see when we have to tap down on the paint 😉

Yeah Eisenstein. You’re completely right. That must be one of the most ignorant comments I’ve read. I bet you don’t even know how to fix a sandwich.
