    Thank you for the video. Since you mentioned that you are horrible at placing vinyl, try the wet method. Put water and a drop of dish detergent in a spray bottle. Spray your substrate before applying the vinyl and that will allow you to be able to move your vinyl around until you get it in the perfect spot.Then squeegee the excess water out and let dry. It will be stuck whereever you placed it once dry.

Do I need sublimation coasters? I seen I could use Laminate If my coaster are ceramic. Also do I need a sublimation printer???? I thought you could use an Inkjet and then print , cut then press. I am so confused. Thanks

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are talking about two completely different things. Sublimation needs to be done with sublimation ink and printer plus sublimation paper and a polyester coated blank or material. Print then cut can be done with an inkjet printer and printable products. You MUST have a sublimation printer to do sublimation designs. This is a process where the ink is heated into a gas and then it dyes the fabric or coating of the blank. Using inkjet means you print onto a product that is made to be printed on and then place it ontop of the blank.

      When you use the parchment , you leave very little of the vinyl exposed and that as where you attach it first then lift the rest up, remove the parchment and slowly lay it down smoothing with a scraper or hand. Makes it so much easier.

    Hiii, so ordered my ink and paper from your previous epson sublimation conversion video. I love everything so far and you are great at teaching. However the bleeding is killing me after sublimating! I used like 4 sheets of butcher paper and teflon sheets (top and bottem) and I actually got bleeding on my brand new press. I was just shopping around to see if maybe its the ink or that paper. The paper setting was printed exactly the way you showed it and it had been printed days beforehand so it had time to dry. Have you tried different sub paper? I am desperate for help!
