As I watch you I have been looking for a culinary school. Unfortunately due to virus many schools are struggling how to teach in this area. We did this as a big family cook up to kick off our bbq and we really, really loved it! The flavours together were simply amazing; so simple, but so very good. We followed the directions exactly, (without burning down our house even). As a cajun I appreciate the respect he gives to different cuisines. This isn't how my family would make it (Old bay??) but the essence is definitely there and a respect for the shrimp. If I had one complaint, that bun is a sad excuse for a french roll, but hey its a pandemic & the rest of it looks amazing.

This is his interpretation of bbq shrimp. I take minced garlic and a half stick of unsalted butter and sauté the garlic. Then add a bay leaf or two. Season shrimp salt pepper then dust with Tony’s or crab boil. Throw em in the garlic butter for a minute and add 1/4 to 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce, minced parsley, half a lemon squeezed, small dust of sugar. Boil for a minute then serve with garlic bread or over grits
