Ben küçükken sadece köye gittiğimde yediğimiz, normalde çevremizde kimselerin bilmediği bir şeydi. İlkokulda öğretmen en sevdiğimiz yemeği sorunca "soğan dolması" dersem bütün arkadaşlarım "öğk!" Derdi. Köye, Tekirdağ'a giderdik, orada nar ekşisi, sumak değil erik ekşisi ile yaparlardı. Şimdi herkesin bildiği, viral olan bir tarif haline gelmesi çok ilginç geliyor bana.

It sounds appealing. I like bulgur, onions and sumac. I think your subscriber count is going up! Good to see.

This meal looks delicious. The addition of pomegranate syrup I found interesting … not just for flavour but for caramelisation … I found interesting.

This seems a really good recipe and I love the idea to serve it with yoghurt.

You cannot imagine dolma without yogurt😁 All dolma products in Turkey are served with yogurt.🤤😌😉

The extra pomegranate molasses part is optional but I bet that it doubles the taste. Thanks for the recipe!

Here in the US, Americans are always surprised when we offer them stuffed foods like dolma or sarma, they really enjoy them! They often say, you Turks literally stuff every vegetable:)) This recipe is also one of the best example of this "stuff-mania" :))

This sounds delightful. I wonder, is it possible to make it with just the bulgur and not use meat? We have a vegetarian in the family currently.

Yes, there is also a vegetarian version just with rice or bulgur.

I don't know why this Balkan and Turkish recipe became viral but we stuff them whole in Bulgaria this way I have seen Bosnian and Greek to do it too
