What a great simple clear explanation of our predicament as humans. Freedom and peace of mind is so simple and accessible. You don’t have to spend hours a day meditating. A few minutes a day is good but the realization and knowing of the true self is key. Discovering the observer or witness within oneself and operating from the seat of awareness is essential. Michael Singer’s Untethered Soul provides all one needs to know and do to wake up. It is so simple when you strip away the religious traditions and cultural conditioning, and attempts over the century by individuals to control peopl’s mind with their own values and useless rituals. Teachers who present themselves as gurus are to be avoided. Use the teachings that serve you but don’t give up your authority to some guru or anyone for that matter. Peter Russell does a beautiful job of condensing and simplifying the essence of what leads to freedom and allows the soul to
grow and evolve while on this earthly plane of existence. Riding in this vehicle (the body with its mind and heart) and experiencing it’s joys and trials is an adventure but always remember what and who you are.

I like this guy and how he talks of the simplicity of things. My humble little view in this vast field of finding self awareness/peace/love etc is that there is much, too much talking and intellectual musings when the joke is just getting the mind quiet enough for the self to go ...........ahhh the relief ! :)

I'm sixty-seven and I remember the 60' but I have to tell that I may understand all the thing only now. This was enjoyable. It seems to me that the sense of identification is a third aspect to who we are and it can reside with the mind stuff or the universal consciousness or witness. In that there is the holly trinity, father (universal truth/witness) Son (suffering of sin/identification of mind stuff) the holly ghost (identification of the self, which can shift and appear hidden inside the others.

Love is sooooo corrupted as a word..as an idea..because the majority of humanity is trapped in likes and dislikes thinking that that had to do with love..Reverence for life and acknowledge our souls as eternal worthy s is what we as humans seem to chronically miss..
Not desire but the need hurts us..
Desire is the power that brought and brings creation into creation..
Desire is not the problem..
lacking is what makes us feel a need..materialism is just the simple and quick fiks we all know this.
Until we start to experience reverence for life that is in all and through all and around all we feel incomplete ..causing a deep hurt and dispair in many humans...Love beyond like and dislike..🙌🙏🌟.

Love is the highest vibration, felt in the body, especially in heart area, all over the body, internally felt, taste like a honey - like you taste the honey and you be the honey at the same time, it goes with you everywhere, is so huge, vast, this feeling of love, it is happiness itself, it is energetic shift from lower emotions/vibrations into highest vibration, lifting body/mind character, so sweet, so pure, like a volcanic lava spreading in the front of your eyes transforming everything around you, it is a cosmic magic.
