Great to see someone who can make a great argument that everything is consciousness and yet, admit that he doesn't really know. So refreshing and in my opinion needed in the Non dual scene. I wish more high profile teachers would include that admission in their talks (Spira comes to mind.) I think it would help people, as it has me, to get off that treadmill of self importance and addictive need to "know."

    Thank you Peter!
Great talk, and answers to the questions! 😊
The mind is too limited by the alphabet and language to realize the obviousness off beingness which is our true nature.....
Just be still, and notice what's here....
There's a continuous unlimited space, and presence...
Which is always here and present whatever is happening and being experienced.....
Life still happens as before, and the mind still plays it's part.....but now from this ever present awareness as reference.... 😊

It's my opinion and experience one can both be engaged (mind-body) and paused (Consciousness).
“One who sees inaction in action, and action in inaction, is intelligent among men, and he is in the transcendental position, although engaged in all sorts of activities.” (Bhagavad Gita 4.18)
As I see it there already is a road map and it's called Advaita Vedanta and it's thorough and comprehensive. One only need put in the effort and practice in earnest and with open mind and heart and it will bear fruit. One will get out of it according to how much one puts into it.

I really enjoyed this, thankyou. Am I right that regarding the question about prayer, you no longer believe in God or an entity which can assist you; who could grant you an answer to your prayer, other than realising the answer comes from a softening of your view, in the example, of how she needed to change. You've said, instead you paused, asked is there another way to view this situation, softened to a point of returning to love, and opened your door and talked to her.
I would ask the same question of you about prayer if the circumstances had been different. Say she was distressed because she was just told she had cancer of the knee and that it might was secondary and they needed to do tests to see if they could find the primary cancer, would you not have prayed instead of pausing and just going to be with her. Wouldn't you want to ask for a universal consciousness or God as I think is a simpler concept, to assist and pray they would tell her after test results that no primary could be found?

We must be careful about our true nature. I must challenge it from time to time, and discipline myself to be and do what’s right.
