I have studied Buddhism in depth and practiced meditation for many years and always come back to Huang-po and Bodhidarma as the greatest summations for "what-it-is". Your public readings are a great gift to all of us. Thanks so much.

As said by some artists, if you have to ask what it is, you'll never know. I have had students ask me for answers when there are no answers. For me, the act of breathing, the practice of breath meditation is everything. I have found that letting go of conditioned mental constructs is pleasant. Even letting go of Buddhism. That's what Huang-po is all about. @@octavioavila6548

I always prefer to hear these texts in a feminine voice, probably because of my past...which doesn't actually exist. 😀 much love.

People who reach such understanding...cure all illnesses without treatment
Such is the power of great Zen.
See this is my question Jayasara.
There are many people who say you can heal any disease just by meditation and belief.
Ramana maharshi was fully realised but still died from cancer as did some other liberated or enlightened beings.
I have cancer and I have gone through various treatments. I know people like Dr Joe Dispenza says cancer can heal just by visualizing and entering that field.
I have entered the field so many times.
Do you have any thoughts on healing Jayasara?
    🌺

    • @SamaneriJayasara
      @SamaneriJayasara  3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

Hi Karine, I offer these words from Longchenpa for your reflection on this question of yours:
"In simply arising, forms are by nature empty.
From what is unborn there manifests what seems to be born,
but even as it manifests, nothing whatsoever has been born.
From what is unceasing there manifests what seems to cease,
      but there is no cessation.
These are illusory expressions of emptiness.
Even with abiding there is nothing that abides...
So within the context that is never subject to transition or
      change,
nothing strays in the slightest from awakened mind."
So then....forms appear to come and go - to be born and die - but all is simply illusory appearances within the ground of the unchanging, uncontrived Dharmakaya.
What then dies? No Thing. What is there to be concerned with in the Ultimate sense? No Thing
Ramana did not die from cancer - this was simply a magical illusion, a name, a concept, appearing in this dreamscape that we call the world and take as real.
"Ramana" - for want of a name to denote this manifestation - was not Ramana - his true nature was Deathless and unborn, immovable, timeless, imperturbable, unshakeable peace and reality.
Some of his last words were: "They say I am dying... but where could I go? I am Here."
Don't forget what or who you truly are Karine.💜

the use of the mind is interchangeable. mind is thaught. infinite space is described as mind as well. so you hafto pay attention to the underlying use of words, which come with experiance.there is no such thing as mind.bodhidarma has explained this.try holding the word in attention. then look into it dont use the word to arrive. seek it but dont think, for one second. then evaluate the experiance without using words.and you will see.
