BudFox559 Thanx, Bud. I've enjoyed your XS1B videos as well. Later, I plan to install a 2nd gauge, plumbed to the main oil pressure, and video it to compare with the top-end pressures...
that's normal , that's why I don't put a gauge on my Harley , them bike are not like car's they don't need oil pressure . oil pressure is for a car bikes just need the oil to move , as long as that bike is not making funny noises just ride the the crap out of it and have fun, I used to worry all the time with my Harley , it took the out of riding, I never got the same reading hot day , cold day, hot oil , cold oil , that's why I don't use a gauge anymore I just ride , I no my upper half is getting oil because I can here it , it's quite.
Hey, jojojeep1! Thanx for your comment. This is part of an experiment to determine the flow rate proportion to the head, for future armchair contemplations. One of our forum members monitors oil pressure to determine filter clogging and viscosity breakdown, triggering an oil change and filter clean. We're Obsessive/Compulsive types...
just get a good filter, good oil, and have fun, TAKE THAT GAUGE OFF and use a oil light it's so much more fun to ride with out looking at that dam gauge all the time ,stay safe friend
That's interesting, thanks for posting it.

Great I look forward to it. I have a XS1B and a special, and I was curious about those. pressures.
That was great
