Damn was just getting interested I wanted to see you start her up again nothing is more satisfying than taking a junk yard bike and building it back up so it can ride the streets again
You di a wonderful job on the bike. I have a 81 Yamaha xs400 that's in is wiring faze Should be finished in January, in a heated garage Good luck on your build
nice project , came out very nice !!! i like the patina that the motorcycle has !! good job , question where did you put all the electric part that come under the seat and the battery , thanks a lot !!!
Its ass backwards to me. Spend all that cash and time and you dont even know the state of the motor? I guess if you have an open budget you can do that. Also try a 'Brat; or Scrambler style. Cafe Racers are over done.
Dude ! you really know fuck-all about bikes....eh ? A true Child-of The New Millenia . Dave NZ

Been nice to see it run
Rule of thumb: always rebuild carbs when doing a project. It's a simple peace of mind that can save you from headaches later.
Especially when changing intake filter types...

😄Ya ever pull any repairs/maintenance/ on a a motorcycle, or ya just like to trash them?
Will be interesting to follow this build. 78 XS650 Special was my first bigger street bike.
Youve got alot of faith. Buying an air filter before it even runs. Keep the old shocks
Good ol’ Japanese bikes will take so much neglect and rarely disappoint. I would have totally made sure it ran first.
How did the AirPods work, I have the same model bike , did u do any adjustments to the carbs?
I know that air box is ugly but when I took mine off it was very hard to have it running like it should.
Me 2 bruh , I have the same model bike but when I switch to AirPods ran into problems with carbs
Been riding xs650 s for over 45 years he’s still got some work to do on this one ?? 😮
Cool build!
Where'd you end up putting rhe batteries and electronics?

Lots of money and time spent on a bike that doesn't yet run.
So... it's a hipster window ornament now?
Yo, could you drop a link for the handlebars 🤙🏼
Anyone know where he got the headlight and grips from?
Hi, I got the headlight from Summit Racing I believe and the Vans grips off Amazon.
@@twopencemoto4759 thanks so much. You inspired me to build bikes!
Ya it cleaned up nice. Too bad not running yet. What do you think it needs to get it running ?
where do you buy that tire?
Looks ok, but does it even run?!?!?
Ahhh does it run?
Lol
Unfortunately not yet.

He Bought it for $200. Regardless of the state of the engine, even if you have to rebuild the entire engine it’s still worth it.
not a fan of that look could build it way better
