Can't wait when they get to the basement in the next episode! Only problem, it's like approx 200km away (120 miles), at the third wall, - which is currently broken and populated with titans. That might be a problem to inspect the basement while the whole area opened to outside with titans roaming around. I guess they still don't understand how huge the area covered by walls. There are like 9 or 13 cities inside of it, not counting villages.

You notice how he started by trying to remind Eren of his vengeance - the thing Eren has been yelling about for 5 years is killing all the titans and escaping the walls. Then when that didn't work, he went back to their earliest dream together - to explore the world. He empathises with Eren and instead of telling him to do something, he _asks_ Eren what he wants. Eren at that moment decides his own purpose and goal, what will drive him forward as he carries the weight of the world. That is what wakes him.
