I never knew that Hoof GP would be become part of me falling asleep at night, but here we are. The one time the YT algorithm was correct. Love the music and channel! I visited Scotland 5 years ago, one of my favorite spots ever.
My family all thought i was really odd when they found out the hoof gp was my before bed viewing but its brilliant!

I always think its dumb for people to say "Oh YoUrE hUrTiNg HiM!" He was already hurting, and some pain is required to fix the issue. This pain will save him tons of agony later on.
Fr and if it gets bad/infected enough it can even kill the cow.
It's like rebreaking a bone that healed incorrectly so it heals the way it's supposed to but the bones on the outside

That was the gift that just keeps on giving and giving. It would be un-nerving to find something you hoped was just a small sore was actually a giant combination of problems. I expect she felt so much better after the trim.
I'm becoming a bit a professional theory hoof trimmer myself now. I know all the terminology and medical names. I can tell a bad hoof from the off now.
I’d like to think the cow was yelling “hey! What’s goin on back there?? Do I hear drills and saws??” And the guy yelled back “quiet please!” To which the cow replied “looks like somebody won’t be getting a tip today!”

I tried to find Craigie Boy, no luck.
Whenever someone says it's the cow in the crush complaining remind them what it's like to wait in line anywhere. Those cows are saying, "Get on with it! We've got cud to chew."
I'm from the Jersey Shore (NOTHING like the show) where farms are basically extinct. But my family in PA own a dairy farm out in Amish country. I'm not exactly familiar with cows, but I've been around them.... not much, enough to pet them & think they're sweet. But after watching this channel for about a year, I have a new appreciation for cows & the care needed to care for them. And I'm addicted to this channel. It started as a welcomed distraction during the pandemic & election season last year, but has evolved into an addiction. Some videos, I've watched multiple times. LoL. I find the process fascinating. And I enjoyed your other channel, GPs Everything.... All 5 videos (you should definitely add more, just saying...)

Dear Hoof GP; Watching this, I find myself asking: have you ever had a hoof where you started working on it and then had to yell at the farmer to get the vet in an emergency, or worse, had to put the poor cow down? Love your videos, especially the videos where the cow is in obvious distress and afterward looks downright comfortable! Great for the loving heart!!!!

This show is so interesting. I never knew a cow's required so much care. And I grew up in the country next to a dairy farm in TN. I also love his accent. Makes me proud of my Scottish heritage. 4th great grandparents direct from Scotland and more through marriages.

Oh it would suck. I had sand in my boots for a minute on my last deployment and was unable to change out. So when I finally took my boots and socks off it was nasty. My feet were raw, and the sand bloody. Not a pretty picture. I feel for this cow right now.
Animals amaze me because they realize that he is there to help them....💙💜💛

I've watched a few trimmers on the ol tubes, and I have found that you have a better way with the process that the others. One gentleman barely removed any of the loose horn and didn't seem to "care" as much. I appreciate that you seem to genuinely care about the cows and explain what you are doing remarkable well. I always appreciate being told which cow is mooing and why. I thought that cow was in intense pain or frightened from the trim, and then you said it was a different cow.
