      I mean AlphaZero with deep learning is just on a whole new level. Imagine learning the game for 4 hours and can beat the crap out of the strongest engine developed in 2 decades. Some may argue "oh but since its nolonger developed, Stockfish rn can whoop AlphaZero ass" . But I have to look at the potential, its not like " oh if they run AlphaZero again it will lag behind ". No, they will just dethrone Stockfish again no doubt. So for me AlphaZero is still No1. Only question is whether it will be awaken again by the developers.

      @@davidfisher2359 Probably not. Lc0 has surpassed A0. They would either have to spend time catching up A0 or improve leela with something both the A0 team and the Lc0 team missed/didn't do.

    You should have Stockfish review a game that computers don’t understand, for instance a game it thinks is completely lost, but there is a drawing move it doesn’t see. And it’s shocked once the move is made. Like “this is obviously completely winning” and goes over a bunch of loosing lines, and then the drawing move is made and sock fish is super embarrassed and makes a bunch of excuses why he didn’t see it

      @@maiageia1240 actually there is weird stuff that computers somehow can’t understand well for some reason. Like a completely closed position. Or some puzzles with some weird drawing tricks. You should look it up

      So um this definitely happens. Topalov v Shirov is the most famous example. Computers are better than us but not yet perfect.

      @@mikeyoung9810 Natural language advice is badly needed in chess apps. Chessbase Fritz does an OK job (albeit it's use of English is poor), but the Chessmaster series had the best natural language commentary. It's too bad it's engine was stuck in the 1990's in terms of power/development (still, it was able to make broad statements about position, but nothing detailed).

    That pawn clearance sacrifice to get the Knight in was exactly what I was looking at then the robot says it was brilliant by human standards and he seen it in a second. Haha I love sacrificing pawns tho to get my peices to better squares so maybe I just got lucky with spotting that move lol great video though keep em coming

      Seemed like the most natural candidate move imo. You want to continue the assault against black's king so gaining space with both the rook and the knight makes sense
