    Thanks for the flight! I can definitely understand what you're talking about. We all have our limits before frustration overwhelms us.
    What helped me, was I ditched all my social media besides TH-cam. No Facebook, no tiktok nothing. I avoid all news feeds and tv stations, they just anger the blood. I'm not "out of the loop". I know exactly what i need to know.
    The world is not how every individual wants it, which is fine, we should be able to get along anyways. Everything is politics, and it sickens me.
    You also need to limit the time with individuals or items that test your patience. Lifes short as it is, no reason to speed up death by raising your blood pressure.
    Bless you and all you care for! Be kind, and fly safe! Tim

      I totally concur with you about social media. I was never a social media guy and never had the tiks, insta and cancelled FB back around 2020 because of all the nonsense drama. The world is certainly about how you make it. Only you can be the author of your own story. Thanks for sharing and bless you as well my friend! 😀

    Hey Raul! Glad you found some time to bring us up to speed. Hope everyone is well. Thanks for the words of wisdom. As one of my favorite Captains told me more than thirty years ago: "control what you can control." I read a book recently that you may be interested in: Loving's Love - author Neal Loving. It's about a pilot that faced incredible challenges, designed his own aircraft, and was a part of a NASA study/development team. I was truly humbled by his story.

      Thanks a lot! It was supposed to be very short, but went right over my house and I had a strong headwind that made it about 20 minutes longer to enjoy the blue skies. 😀

    Man, that’s crazy! I may have just miss you! I flew into big Sandy from Memphis just the other day! Great airport. I will say flying over those mountains was a little scary and gusty. But definitely a great airport. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to stop at the restaurant. Anyway, fly well, brother!

    • @FlyingDirty
      @FlyingDirty  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Big Sandy is a pretty nice relaxing airport. I like that you can get in and out fast without having long waiting traffic like in Centennial 😀. Having the experience and being used to the Rockies I pretty much know what to anticipate when flying over the hills. Here you don't really want to try flying over the 14,000 foot peaks on a single engine. If you get a strong downdraft it can bring the airplane down fast and you could stall trying to get out of it. It can certainly be a bit scary if you are not used to it. Thanks buddy and glad you made it over to Big Sandy my friend 😀

    Best of luck in your new ventures, whatever they may be. I hope we get to see you back and flying on TH-cam again in the future. I always enjoyed your flight videos and how professional your piloting habits come across as. Flying is serious fun but it's also serious business and your videos always show both sides of that coin.

      I love the way you expressed it. It "is serious fun" and "serious business". Since 1998, My flying is of the boring type. I love it but I don't take the responsibility lightly. Hopefully, the channel will stick around and perhaps I could also let the crowd in on my little "Dirty Secrets" 😀
