It's a good thing the human eyeball has better resolution than my phone screen/go pro because after breaking through the clouds, I still couldn't see the approach lights or the runway when the 1st Officer made the call out. It was only at "minimums" did I actaully see everything. Great approach and landing.
Most people do not realize how much goes on with the pilots when flying. It is a fairly stressful job. I give a;ll pilots much praise for what they do. We are always in good hands when we fly. Thank you guys!!
keep it coming for us out of work biz jet pilots...I like to listen to the RT and watch the cockpit stuff to keep the ear until someday I'm back in the saddle . My ex boss ran out out of money in May 2022 leaving us high and dry..UK side isn't like the US its being typed and 500 hrs even for a 25 year veteran cheers DD
Always enjoy your videos. Love seeing it from different viewpoints sometimes cause when you are flying things happen so fast so it's nice to be able to watch your approaches from the comfort of my chair! lol Good job
The camera doesn’t pick it up well, but the approach lights were in sight before minimums, which lets you go down to 100’ feet, and a couple of seconds later the runway was in sight, no regulation were breached in this approach
Fifty years ago both Aspen and Nantucket were beautiful places...before the beautiful people and $$$$$ ruined them both. Nice flying though. Last time I flew in to Nantucket it was via a DC-3.
True but usually not an issue, ive flown 1000s of approaches to ACK. Back in the day we would hold at the marker until all the private pilots left. Then ACK tower would "give" the appropriate minimums..
Career airline here. I haven’t been in the cockpit for many years. Still miss it. Enjoy fellas and thanks for the ride from an old timer, now 77.

@@richardbryan6349 For sure, saw it as well when I edited the video

Thank you guys!!
The transition from air to land looked seamless
Seems like every approach to KACK is at or close to minimums. Great job guys!
Always great when the runway is right where it is supposed to be. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video! I had good friend that worked that tower. Great place to visit. US military would use that airport for IFR training,
Thanls for posting. Nice ride along.
Glad you enjoyed it
The Grey Lady never disappoints. Did the ILS down to mins in a single engine PA28-201R

@@firepilot109 Thanks!
Beautiful.
Nice jet! Sandpiper Air has come a long way 😂
Excellent CRM!
Looking really nice. Thank you for sharing your flght here. Nice!😊
This is a good lesson for trust your instruments
Absolutely
Beautiful!
Looks a lot like a CRJ-900 in the cockpit. Same manufacturer so that makes sense.
Been there done that…that little island can get socked in pretty hard.
Great crew! I loved the seamless coordination.
Into the mystic.
Normally the FBO wants you to call them before you enter the ramp. It can be a real goat rope sometimes.
blasted right thru minimums at 200 above with no runway in sight.

Good one
At 17:49 you catch a glimpse of the VOR through a small break in the clouds.
Nice, didn’t see that before
Nice landing in poor conditions
You should record your takeoff as well.

This plane really doesn’t have A/THR?? If true, I. Am. Astonished.
@@jesse00pno It does not, only the 3500 has. It really is an expensive system to have, thats why a lot of private jets dont have it
Are these instructional flights? Why is the PF not calling for the checklists, or am I confusing who I am hearing?
This was a 135 flight with passengers on board

Great video. Are there no auto throttles on this Challenger?
No, they added them only on the new Challenger 3500s
Is the right stick the captain? Seems like it.
not yet 😅 still got a few hundred hours until my ATP
Talk about clutch lol
There once was a girl from Nantucket...
It's "man" not girl
Which aircraft is this?
@@sakethm109 Challenger 300
Greater than 6000 and he asks if anyone is getting in?
Well ceiling was right on the minimums so you can have 20 miles of visibility and still not be able to land..

As Dave Portnoy would say to Antifa
"You ever been to Nantucket?.....its beautiful" 😂
