Turbo Saratoga Flight - Kentucky to the Bold New City of the South

On this Turbo Saratoga Flight we are going from Kentucky to the Bold New City of the South. We are going to land at Jacksonville Executive at Craig Air Field where I took my first flight lessons back in 1998. We are going to spend a few days visiting my mother and then we'll fly back to our home in Kentucky.

Kentucky has been keeping me busy but I had to make time for mom. 😀 Got family trip pending for Dallas next month so we'll see ho that goes.

Nice flight and video! Speed brakes cool-I’d imagine an STC? I could use them in my old Bonanza. It’s fast and hard to slow down to gear and flap speed of 100 MPH🥴. Enjoy your visit with your mom.

Thanks a lot! They can come standard on the Turbo Saratoga or an STC. They are very useful for a Turbocharged airplane to keep the temperatures in check. Specially when up in the flight levels where it is cold. Also, like you mentioned, great for slowing down to gear speed. After the gear is deployed then I use the gear drag for my speed brakes 😀
